  Dane at Safelite Palm Harbor was outstanding from start to finish. He was professional, efficient, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. The windshield replacement was completed faster than the original estimate, and the quality of the work was excellent. The front desk manager I'mtook the time to explain everything and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. If you get the chance to have Dane as your technician, you’re in good hands. Highly recommend Safelite Palm Harbor based on this experience.

  My appointment was at 7am. Google said their office opened at 8am. Hmmm. I arrived at 630am and saw the office manager behind the desk. He kindly opened the door for me and explained that work wouldn't start until 7am when technicians arrived. I was okay with that. I was able to find a comfortable seat and begin my wait rather than have to stay in the car another 30 minutes. Thanks for the kindness and professionalism! The technician was super friendly and the work was perfect, having it all completed in half the original time estimate. Thanks so much!

  I had a windshield chip caused by road debris from the construction on U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor and by the next day it had spread into a large crack. I scheduled an appointment with Safelite and had to go to their location since my vehicle required recalibration with the replacement. The entire process took about an hour and a half while I waited in the lobby. The team was professional, friendly and informative. They explained everything clearly and reviewed the work with me once the replacement was complete. One thing to keep in mind is that they do not replace window tint which I was aware of beforehand since they specialize in glass repair and replacement, not tinting. I overheard another customer asking if they replace the tint. Unfortunately I did lose my tint which was honestly the toughest part of the process especially with the heat, sun glare at sunset and loss of privacy. The experience was smooth and efficient and my windshield was replaced properly. Aside from the tint drawback I was satisfied with the service.

  After “attempting” to replace and calibrate my vehicle 4 times, Safelite created new issues with my F150 every time they touched it. My auto high beams started blinding people and flickering, my lane keep assist didn’t pick up one lane boundary, and worst of all when using adaptive cruise on I-95 going 75mph it just lost connection with the car ahead and almost caused an accident. All these issues were brand new, so eventually I gave up and went to Ford who told me about Mr Auto Glass… Safelite store manager actually had the nerve to call me and deny my warranty and mocked me on the phone, laughed, and hung up on me. Eventually I convinced insurance to switch the provider to Mr Auto Glass! What a difference!! They actually called my insurance for me and just added me once they had it all set up for authorization. They also found a local OEM windshield for me for no extra charge. He found out Safelite installed a Fuyao windshield which is known for the worst quality in industry and is just the cheapest junk out there. Mr Auto Glass refuses to use Fuyao from all the problems with it! They found the glass was warped, a protective tape piece partially covering the camera from Safelite’s technician, and a computer code for the ADS camera system obstruction which Safelite never mentioned when they scanned it… With the new windshield all the problems are gone!!! And Mr Auto Glass is also insurance approved!! Tell all your friends - NEVER USE SAFELITE, ESPECIALLY THIS LOCATION!! UPDATE: Upon going into the store and confronting them about the issue they denied everything, said warranty was not denied when they denied it on a recorded line, and refused to make it right. AGAIN - DO NOT COME HERE. THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK!!!!!
