Major defect recently occurred where the rearview mirror fell down taking a layer of glass with it where it was mounted. This company would not honor the lifetime warranty and my car is not safe to drive with the windshield like this. Tried to speak with a manager who is very unprofessional and insisted that this isn’t a warranty item - even though it is a windshield with a lifetime warranty and they are the ones that did the work and mounted my rearview mirror as part of the replacement effort. Avoid them at all costs! They do not back up their work.

They did that TWICE, finally I called and complained and they told me to come to their location that day and they’d fix it. I show up and they told me they wouldn’t do it that day and to make another appointment. Extremely frustrating experience.

While they never promised my car at a specific time, they notified me of how things were going from when they started to in process to completed. Not only did they have it done quickly, they also saved me hundreds compared to the quote from a dealership for the rear window to be replaced. It looks great!

Local shop could "only" give me a $20 discount. 4. Customer care could not assist me, as the only thing they could do was call the local shop manager, who said he would not honor my original quote because they had to get the glass from a different source. That sounds like a "them" problem, but they made it my problem, and I had to pay for it. 5. My tech was great, but he told me his pay gets docked for bad reviews, & asked me not to give a bad one. That should be illegal. Safelite screwed me over, not the tech.

Progressive couldn't confirm but they said it looked like one claim would not change anything for my payment. Went through insurance and cost me nothing. Out of pocket would have been over $400.
