Always out of service & when you actually find a charger working, they hit you with a $0.60/kWh charge. To put this into perspective, if you’re driving a gas car that gets 25mpg avg, you’d be paying $4.29/gallon if this EVgo charging station was dispensing fuel. The OUC chargers downtown charge $0.40/kWh at the same time of day, so don’t let EVgo try to spin this as surge pricing. I gave them a chance to explain this and all they had to offer were excuses and zero accountability for the constant out of service concerns. They’re preying on the uninformed.

It’s expensive (almost $30 for 40 min of charging, bringing my rental Hyundai Ionic from 40 to 100%) but the charger worked perfectly which is all I cared about. Also in a good location.
Only suggestion is for them to automatically email a receipt — it’s only viewable in the app.
