They will do that to save power if your battery is old. Since I had never replaced the battery and the truck has 81,000 miles, I figured that was the problem. Jerry assisted me and replaced the battery with a new one and was very courteous and helpful, and quick to have me on my way again. I reconfigured the panel and running boards are operational again. I highly recommend this business, especially for battery replacement!

I ordered the battery online so that I could just pick it up and have it installed after I got my car jumped. I walked in and was told that they can’t install the battery in my car because they need a computer to reset it despite the fact that I have the literal same battery in my car that was installed there. His only assistance was to refund me for my online purchase, which did not help. I kept explaining that I was going out of town in 24 hours and needed my car to start. I can’t have a dead car at an airport parking garage. And he just kept saying there’s nothing I can do. I drove a minute up the road to your competitor O’Reillys. Where the man there took 10 minutes out of his day to research the fact that not all Audi’s require computer calibration just after 2018 and since I have a 2015, he was able to change my battery in 30 seconds and I was on my way. And he stopped to say if it had been his wife or his mother with two kids stranded on a hot day he would’ve wished that someone would’ve helped them like he helped me.
