My husband’s truck had a major malfunction while in the left turn lane traveling eastbound on Highway 220 in Fleming Island, FL — right in the middle of the intersection. We called our roadside assistance first, but after nearly two hours of waiting (and being told it would be another 40 minutes), we were still stuck. Out of frustration, we called Scott’s Affordable Towing, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made! They said it would be about 30 minutes, but the driver arrived in just 10 minutes. He was incredibly professional, calm under pressure, and clearly knew what he was doing. In the middle of a busy intersection, he got our truck loaded up quickly, safely, and with a great attitude. What really impressed us was how genuinely helpful and fair this company was — no overcharging, no nonsense, just fast, efficient, and friendly service. We were treated with respect and consideration by someone who understood the urgency of our situation. It’s rare to find that level of care these days. My car broke down, was red tagged by hywy patrol stating my car was fine to be there.. got towed anyways.. called Scott’s towing and the guy answering was straight up rude.. told us if we came rn it would be $300 said we were a few minutes away he said it would be an additional $75 for him to come and unlock the gate bc he doesn’t live at work?? Or pay $30 a day.. what happened to good customer service?
