  I’ve been meaning to do this review after visiting several Strickland shops in the area given that i have family all around central Florida. My family and I all moved from North Carolina to Florida last year. We have always been faithful to Strickland due to their exceptional service in North Carolina. Since I’m a proud North Carolina resident from birth, and now live in Florida. I also want one of our businesses that made me proud in North Carolina to thrive here. My sister moved to Longwood and their service is great according to her. My brother is in Davenport area and their service is great according to him. My other brother who lives in Rockledge area had a different experience. They all keep bringing their kids cars to the shop and receive very good service. The only note i have to say is that my brother told me, that one time while he was waiting, he noticed that the shop was busy and it seemed like they needed “an extra hand”. They saw this guy who seemed to be probably auditing the shop, standing there. Now don’t get me wrong, i get that there are hierarchy levels in any business. But, I would assume that if there’s a higher up leader in a business, and they see that that the place needs help, i would assume they would jump in and help. But from what my brother told me was that the guy simply stood there, didn’t help, and left. And he could see the frustration from the employees face when it all happened. I moved to Melbourne and i must say, they must’ve changed management because the service has been exceptional these past couple of months. Several months ago, i went a couple of times given we have multiple vehicles in the family, and service was poor. But this time around, this guy named Richie helped me with my other two vehicles and he was very knowldable, explained everything very well, and showed very good teamwork with the staff. I’m assuming he’s the manager. Not just that, that shop looked “poorly” taken care off on the outside for many months since I’ve lived here. It looked like an abandoned shop. And aesthetics play a major role to bring in clients at the end of the day. The other day i drove by with my brother, and i see the same guy again, Richie, we saw him completely transforming the landscape of the shop. When we drove back, the outside looks 10/10 finally. I don’t know who hired him, but corporate needs to come see this man work. Maybe make him district manager or something. I don’t know. But this shop has had a complete 360 for the past couple of months. Staff seems very happy. Shop looks great. My family an I are planning on expanding our business down to Florida soon, and quite frankly, that’s the type of leadership we’d need with us.

  Very friendly, professional, and thorough experience. The facility was clean and tidy and the technician communicated well about everything they were doing. The team completed the job in a timely manner. Zero complaints.

  It might be a bit more money than other places, but it’s the only place I change my oil and don’t dread the visit. I’m always greeted politely with a bottle of water and excellent service! It’s quick and convenient! If I’m lucky, I leave with chocolate and always a car freshener!

  I pulled in to the bay around 12 pm today and I was immediately greeted by Noelle who filled me in and told me what was going to transpire. James actually directed me in but he swiftly disappeared downstairs, down in to the pit. I asked about getting synthetic oil and I also asked for new wipers. Noelle provided me with great information and got right to work replacing my wipers and topping off other fluids. I was extremely impressed with how quickly they got me in and out. I informed Noelle I was leaving for a trip later today, heading to Tennessee, and I told her it was going to be COLD. We discussed the need (or not) for antifreeze and Noelle told me if I was only going up for a short period that I wouldn't need it. So she wasn't trying to upset me just to make a sale, which I LOVE! What really impressed me was that they came to my door and showed me the dip stick to show that the oil was clean and full. She also checked all of my tires and made sure they were ready for the big trip.
