Stoked to find another honest shop. ToyLex recommended I bring my truck here to get a diagnostic on a noise I thought was coming from the transmission in my Hilux. The guys at the shop were a massive help, turns out my differential might be the real culprit. Would have never pinpointed the diff from the cab since its such a noisy vehicle. Guys could have taken me for a ride on both counts but were super honest, didn't even charge me for the diagnostic. Will definitely be back.

Before Christmas, I was having a problem with my 2010 Pontiac Vibe.. It had a puzzling check engine light which read as a cylinder misfire but the car wasn't misfiring. Their technicians expertly diagnosed the problem and replaced the faulty components. I went there because I'd heard their advertisement on the Bill Mick show & I definitely recommend them.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! PLEASE
I bought a 2012 G 37 sport coupe back in March transmission ended up failing so I called around and found Richmond transmission. They told me they were able to lift my car. My car is lowered so I brought it to them. Quoted me $4258 for the transmission swap With 67,000 miles. Thought it was a good deal to get the car back on the road It was there May 5th was finished May 27th and the transmission shifted good except I heard maybe torque converter noise it sounded like it was by the bell housing so I took it back they told me it’s something on the engine side okay no problem then a few months or weeks later the transmission started having a flare from 3rd to 4th gear (a flare is when you’re accelerating and the rpm’s shoot up before grabbing the gear) then it got worse randomly would be put into limp mode so I would turn the car off and turn it on then it would be fine I told frank and Chris about the issues I told them “the receipt you guys gave me has warranty can you cover it” Frank says “Well that’s what we do” mind you his tone is unprofessional but I was like okay brought it to him, sat for a week at their shop haven’t touched it haven’t gotten the trans so I told them I need my car to get around from work Etc so they gave me it back while waiting on the trans at least I thought drove for good couple more weeks then it got put into limp mode again so I’m thinking turn it off and turn it on it’s just like the time I can make it home… it didn’t wanna crank it was acting like the battery was dead so I bought a battery cause my jump pack wasn’t enough at least I thought that didn’t work so we pushed it to a parking lot thought maybe the starter so we jack up the car from the rear end to see but we got it started and the wheels would spin in neutral reverse and park long story short ended up getting it towed to Richmond they tried blaming it on the tune when I brought it to them before now they suspect it’s a “Major electrical issue” okay np sat there for a month and a half told me the transmission was coming oh it’s gonna come Wednesday wasn’t there Wednesday called him Friday oh, it’s gonna be here. Monday. Left him alone till the following Wednesday. I don’t know where this thing is. could at least tell me where it’s coming from how many mileage it’s got they can’t even tell me that it’s coming from JDM… jdm where there’s like over 10 just in Florida “idk just says jdm” finally tired of them lying and felt like they were trying to just get money I towed the car from there took it to transmasters on Palm Bay road bought my own transmission and they installed in 4 days 2 days to double check wiring for the “major electrical issue” and to verify parts and two days for the install the car runs and shifts great now so how does Richmond have my car for a month and a half sat in the same spot untouched and the thing that got me is if the transmission that you guys took out is under warranty with another company why is it in peices you’re supposed to send it back as a whole and they threw it in my trunk when I told them not to VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEYRE ALL RUDE IF YOU TRY TO TELL THEM ANYTHING….this company is a joke
