If I could rate them zero I would. Where do I start? Car listed at 10,713. Dealership and Salesperson disagreed on engine specs, took 2 days to get that straight. Sent my boyfriend to check it out and purchase while I was at a funeral. They tacked on over $4,000 in random charges ($1,995 PPP (which my boyfriend DECLINED and they left anyway,) $1,298 dealer fee, $598 electronic filing fee, $189 PTA, in ADDITION to tax tag and title). They convinced him to sign their "deal." He specifically asked them if his signature was tying us into anything or just rough estimates and they assured him it wasn't final numbers (so that he wouldn't call me about it). They turned an $11,000 vehicle into a $17,000 vehicle, refused to put 2 names on the title forcing me into a new tag in my name instead of using an existing tag in the co-owners name (costing me an extra $400 plus), gave me an interest rate that was TWICE the rate my bank offered (I have perfect credit, it's being immediately refinanced from 8% to under 5%). I called their bluff, told them they had no deal because they didn't have MY signature and also you can't lie to someone to get them to sign something (that's literally fraud). Then when I forced them to reduce their bullshit charges from $17k to $15k, they wanted to pretend they'd done ME a favor. They were supposed to call me today with the information on who they were "assigning" the loan to so that I could do the immediate refinance with my bank today - no call. And when I called them they acted confused and tried to tell me that they "knocked 2 grand off the car." NO - you made what should have been an EASY sale into a complicated one that cost me more money than it should have both day-of and in fees I now have to pay to move the tag (again) while I was physically at a FUNERAL. I've bought MANY cars in my life. I go with other friends to buy cars because I do NOT suffer fools or put up with bull. Heck, I once bought a car over phone and closed a deal on the loan sitting in the parking lot of a hospice center handling a separate death while I was 9 months pregnant and it wasn't this bad. NEVER NEVER NEVER again. Not me, not my friends, not anyone I know. Beware.

I worked with Mitch and had a great car buying experience. He was patient as my husband and I took turns driving a few vehicles. We left to think on things, but the vehicle we were interested in sold the same day. He then spent the next week hunting a replacement in our preferred color. Between him and the manager, Steve, we got friendly service, a good value on our trade, and left with a price that we felt was very fair. We traveled here because of previous good reviews of this dealership, and it was the right choice.

Big shout-out to Honda of Lake City! If you want a truly no-Pressure no-BS buying experience, this is the place to go. From Steve the General Manager, to Louis Cirino the salesman, and finance handled by Richard, everyone was outstanding—professional, transparent, and easy to work with. I purchased a 2025 Pilot for my wife, and they made the entire process smooth and stress-free. If you are in the market for a Honda this is the place. Thank you to everyone involved. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

We bought a car of Honda of Lake City and they told us that the air on the tire was just low because of the temperature we took it in to get the tire replaced and then they said that they took it into their shop to add air to turn off the dashboard light and said it was low because of the weather‘s changes and there’s nothing wrong with the tire it kept leaking air. I took it into a tire dealer and there’s a they said there’s on the side of it is a slit and they cannot fix it on because it’s on the sidewall. I feel I was fraud by the salesman telling me that the mechanic said there was nothing wrong with the tire. It was because of the Weather we’re very disappointed and feel like they should replace the tire and fix it for us.

So where to begin… I am active duty Navy stationed in Norfolk. I drove over 660 miles in 10 hours from Norfolk VA to Lake City FL to buy this Jeep. When I get to the dealership it had been closed for 1.5 hours. My salesman is Luis Cirino and he is very personable and helpful. I had kept in touch through the trip to let them know that I was almost to the dealership. Luis offered me water and asked me about the long drive. We test drive and I was satisfied with the Jeep. We go inside to talk about price and finance. After we finally settle on monthly payments the Finance manager Larry comes and sits at the table with me. I have a few questions about the final price and the interest rate. Larry tells me in the most condescending tone that we are not here to negotiate, I am to take the deal or not, but that it is 10pm and we are not negotiating anything. Larry the manager acted as if I didn’t just spend 10 hours to come to this dealership. Larry the manager set the final documents down in front of me and waited, I HAD to tell Larry the manager to explain to me, what I was looking at. In my 35 yrs of buying cars and trucks, this is the absolute worst experience I have ever had to endure. The Jeep was a surprise gift for my wife, otherwise I would have left the dealership with my credit score and bought a different Jeep somewhere else. I want to vent my anger at Larry the manager, but I don’t because Luis has been an excellent ambassador for the Honda brand and I just drive 10 hours to buy this vehicle. I would never recommend this dealership to any of my junior sailors and if they absolutely wanted a car from Honda of Lake City I would tell them to only talk with Luis because he will treat them right and professionally. I would also have them check when Larry the manager isn’t there so that they could have a good sales experience.
