Here is the revised version with an added closing paragraph: --- A representative initially assisted me with a damage claim, and I had an appointment scheduled for an in-person inspection of my vehicle. I was later contacted by Safelite and provided with an employee’s personal phone number so I could send photos of the cowl to ensure the correct part was ordered. During the windshield replacement process, there were multiple failed appointments due to faulty glass being sent three separate times. On the final attempt, the technician caused additional damage to my vehicle. A subsequent technician, who came to replace trim that had been improperly glued on with a black adhesive, informed me that the damage was likely due to the previous technician’s failure to follow proper procedure. He explained that he had seen similar damage before when technicians did not remove the windshield wipers and cowl as required, and that failing to do so can result in the rubber on the cowl being torn away when cutting the windshield adhesive. After attempting multiple times over the course of a week to contact the provided number for an update on replacing the damaged cowl—and to address a new windshield issue after another rock impact—I received no response. I then contacted the main customer service line, where I was told the representative had to call the local store five times before getting an answer. I was ultimately informed that I had never been told the cowl would be replaced and that the damage was considered pre-existing. However, only part of the rubber was missing prior to service, and the additional damage clearly occurred during the windshield replacement process, as confirmed by another technician. Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The repeated scheduling failures, lack of communication, conflicting information, and additional damage caused to my vehicle have resulted in a significant loss of time and confidence in the service provided. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into an ongoing issue that has yet to be properly resolved.

I recently had my windshield replaced by Safelite, and I cannot say enough great things about the experience—especially thanks to the technician, Willie. From the moment he arrived, Willie was energetic, professional, and incredibly friendly. He took the time to thoroughly explain the entire windshield replacement process so I knew exactly what to expect, which I really appreciated. His attention to detail and workmanship were outstanding, and it was clear he takes real pride in doing the job right. The installation was completed smoothly and efficiently, and he made sure everything was perfect before finishing up. Safelite is very fortunate to have someone like Willie on their team. His professionalism and positive attitude truly made the experience exceptional. I would absolutely recommend Safelite to anyone needing windshield repair or replacement, and I hope you’re lucky enough to get Willie as your technician!

I am very concerned about this situation. When my windshield was replaced by this company, the technician damaged the passenger-side window. It has now been almost a week and the vehicle is still in an unsafe condition for my family. The crack has increased in size and the glass could shatter at any time. This is a serious safety issue. I have already made several attempts to resolve this directly with the company. I sent emails, called the technician, sent messages, and even posted a review here hoping someone would respond. Unfortunately, I still have not received any update or rescheduling. At this point I have to ask: what exactly are we waiting for? Someone getting hurt, or me receiving a ticket for driving with damaged glass? If the window shatters and someone is injured, or if I receive a citation for unsafe equipment, this situation could become a much larger liability issue for the company. If this is not resolved very soon, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter through my insurance company, file a formal complaint with consumer protection, and pursue the appropriate steps to recover the damages. I am not looking for a dispute. I simply want the damage caused during the windshield replacement to be repaired promptly and responsibly. Please contact me so we can resolve this as soon as possible.

I ended up with the bad flu going around right after installation so a few days late w review, which is probably okay since I then could see if everything was good still a few days later:) I think Harold did the install and he seems to have done an excellent job tho a man w a different name whom I was told was doing the install retrieved the key from me. The svc mgr walked me to my vehicle after and he seemed to be a caring professional who is proud to work at Safelite and offer great workmanship in a timely fashion. I gave 5/5 review which I think is well deserved; however, whisper in the Kissimmee office’s ear that I did not know my install had been completed. I received a document asking for me to check boxes as to estimate costs so I initially thought I was being scammed. I was told 2 hrs from office gal and 3 by fellow who checked me in. Not a big deal but I had to find things to do to kill time, especially since no one answered the phone twice when I called to see if my repair was done. I think their messaging protocol could stand to be tweaked but again they deserve 5/5. My auto ins covered full price so I can only assume they are paying a reasonable price.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experiences with Safelite in Kissimmee, Florida have been consistently frustrating and disappointing. First visit: Safelite came to my home to replace the windshield in my Lincoln Navigator. They installed an aftermarket windshield that created a noticeable “fishbowl” distortion when looking through it. On top of that, they got black adhesive glue all over my white interior. I then had to take time out of my schedule to bring the vehicle to the shop, wait again for a replacement windshield, and have them clean up the mess they created. Most recent experience: I scheduled a mobile chip repair for my Bronco. My appointment was set for Friday. Safelite called asking to come earlier, but I explained I had a dealership appointment and needed them to keep the original time. Later, I was told they couldn’t make it because they weren’t in my area that evening — which I understood. However, the technician then closed the job as “complete” even though no one ever showed up, and Safelite even submitted it to my insurance as finished work. I had to spend additional time calling my insurance and opening a new claim just to get the repair rescheduled. When I tried calling the Kissimmee location, I was told the manager was “on the floor,” and the call was disconnected. Today’s appointment: I arrived at 8:30 AM for the chip repair. After checking in, no one came out. Thirty minutes later I had to follow up myself. I was told the technician was coming. He eventually came out and said it would take 20–25 minutes. Over an hour later — and after multiple trips to the front desk — my vehicle was finally returned. Bottom line: Poor communication Questionable workmanship on the windshield replacement Job incorrectly marked complete Insurance billed for work not performed Excessive wait times even with an appointment This location needs serious improvement in both customer service and quality control. I cannot recommend this Safelite location based on my repeated experiences.
