Oh my goodness! Camping World parts department has saved the day, yet again! I was prepared to have to order a hundred and something control box to get the wire harness I needed and then she came out of the back with exactly what I needed. Camping World Parts are rockstars! Folks can point to the internet all day long but a well stocked parts department and folks who know what they're doing is really where the value is. Thanks, Camping World!

I'm going to be honest here, it's been a rough road. I bought a used 2021 River Forest camper from the Jacksonville office, transported from Claremont, Florida post-divorce. The dishwasher, washer dryer and microwave all needed replaced on closer inspection. So happy I bought the warranty. We were going along swimmingly, adding water to the fresh water tank for the first time, and it fell off into the ground. Can you imagine how upset we were? They came out to our property the next day and fixing it. No problem. I'm going to say that good customer service saved us here. If Mike hadn't been so responsive, we'd be in small claims court. So happy for the staff at Camping World Jacksonville and Mike on the sales team. I'll roast a marshmallow for you! 🔥

First, I want to acknowledge the prompt and professional response from the Camping World corporate office, which apologized for the poor dealer experience. I also want to commend Camping World of Lakewood, NJ for their outstanding service. Our concerns lie solely with Camping World of Jacksonville, FL, and based on our experience, I would strongly advise against purchasing an RV from that location. While we purchased this vehicle almost a year some unforeseen circumstances prevented me from posting. We placed a deposit on a 2024 Winnebago View on November 4, 2024, with Camping World Jacksonville and scheduled pickup for November 14 with our salesperson, Allysa Long. During the walkthrough, we identified multiple issues: the back of the driver’s seat was detached, the overhead cabinet door needed replacement and had a misaligned lock, the exterior paint was bubbled near the door, the engine compartment was dirty, and the RV required a thorough cleaning. The staff member conducting the walkthrough disappeared midway, leaving us to locate our salesperson ourselves. We had to insist that these issues be addressed. Business Manager Jay Clowers attempted to smooth things over, but the overall experience remained unsatisfactory. Despite the unresolved issues, our salesperson was only concerned with us signing the paperwork. Because of the additional work required, we had to stay overnight in Jacksonville. The dealership did not offer assistance with hotel costs, though they did provide transportation to the hotel. During negotiations, Allysa removed the starter package to reduce the price, which left us without essential items for our return trip to New York. We finalized the purchase on November 15, but that same day, we discovered a significant water leak from the overhead bunk while stopping in Georgia. We contacted Oscar, the service manager in Jacksonville, who advised us to visit any Camping World location for assistance. Fortunately, Theresa Cashwell at Hope Mills Camping World provided excellent service and addressed the issue promptly—though the leak persisted. Every time it rained, water pooled in the overhead bunk. Attempts to reach Alysa Long and Jay Clowers were unsuccessful, as they failed to return our calls but were happy to take our money. When I finally spoke with Terry, who I believe is the General Manager in Jacksonville, he dismissed our concerns, stating the vehicle was fine when it left the dealership. Thankfully, Stefany Lucidi, Service Manager at Camping World Lakewood, NJ, took the RV in for inspection. Her team identified multiple leak points in the overhead bunk and determined the window needed replacement. They successfully repaired the issue and pressure-tested the vehicle to ensure it was resolved. Purchasing an RV is a major investment, and it’s incredibly disappointing to encounter such poor customer service from the Jacksonville location. The lack of communication after the sale, especially the refusal to return calls, was deeply frustrating. If it were an option, we would have returned the RV. I want to express sincere appreciation for Stefany Lucidi at Camping World Lakewood and Amber Mackey from Customer Service. Their professionalism and dedication to resolving our issues exemplify what customer service should be.

Drove 8 hours to buy a 2022 camper and when I got there it had so many problems idk how they were even trying to sell it at such a high price. I’m not even sure if humans lived in it because it had more cat scratches than a red head has freckles. So I tried to upgrade to the 24 model since I had already drove a long distance for something they could have told me was not in great condition over the phone because they made sure not to put all the flaws in the pictures and video. The price was 16,900, but somehow came out to 22,900 for the 2024. We couldn’t agree on a price which came down to a few hundred dollars. After everything I think it’s pretty crazy to not make a sale over that amount when I’ve already drove that far and came way more out of my budget because I wasn’t given the details on how bad of shape the camper was I wanted which left me with upgrading or getting nothing.. if you’re driving any distance to come here I’d be very cautious on what exactly you’re getting.
