After searching Pinellas county for a shop to do body and paint work on my 2001 Expedition to no avail, I got a referral to Hi-Tech Collision. It seems near nobody wants to do a “full car” paint job anymore. To make matters worse, I was looking for a very good paint job. I drove up to Hudson and met with Dan. Yes, I had a printed doc delineating exactly what I wanted. I was obviously “picky”. Unlike every shop I contacted, Dan was not put off. He was confident he could do what I wanted done, even though he also doesn’t often do full car paint. He showed me some other projects and gave me a tour of his very well organized shop. He was clearly the man for the job. His crew did what he promised, for what he promised, when he promised. Not cheap, but very good. His paint tech went over and above. He even invited me to come and check the work out twice. Once, right before paint and again, right before completion, just to make sure I was satisfied. He asked me to bring it back after thirty days for a complementary detailing with special wax to ensure longevity of the paint. I can recommend Hi-Tech Collision without reservation.
