The team there were tough negotiators but they were respectful and friendly. They did tremendous job going over the GTIs features and answering my questions. Overall I had great experience and I look forward to using them to service my vehicle.

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership and had the pleasure of working with Cory. From start to finish, Cory went above and beyond to ensure we found the exact car that fit our needs. What stood out most was his patience. He never rushed the process or tried to overwhelm us with high-pressure sales tactics. Instead, he took the time to answer every question and made sure we felt completely comfortable with our decision. If you want a stress-free car buying experience with someone who genuinely cares about getting you the right vehicle, go see Cory.

I first went to VW in July 2025 for a concern that my 2021 Atlas was leaking from the sunroof area (water pooling around the interior lights above the front seat). I had pleasant interactions with Edwin, who was the service associate assigned to my car. He was responsive and helpful, even through an arduous process of getting my extended warranty company to cover $2k in repairs (completely replacing the sunroof and all upholstery). My car was at VW from 7/24-8/7 and they do NOT offer any kind of loaner car, even when I appealed to the manager. See the pictures of the shoddy interior job my car had completed - my car interior was in perfect condition when I brought it in and left with a poorly installed headliner, stains from what I can only assume is adhesive, a slice in my passenger seat that was not there before I took my car to VW, and greasy fingerprints on the roof upholstery. I picked my car up at close on 8/7 and was unable to have someone do a walkthrough with me, so I texted Edwin's line to share the concerns I had. No one followed up with me until 8/12 (see attached text screenshot). When I checked in 10 days later (since no one followed up with me), I was abruptly told that the service manager would be handling the "situation" from then on. He never called me and the service employees continued to give me the runaround into late August. I called again in September and left several voicemails at the service manager's desk and never received any call back. In October, I spoke with Michael, who told that me on the phone that their "interior specialist" had left town and they had no one able to do it until they found another one. When I went in person in late October, I was informed that the service manager was not there and that no one else in the building could help me with my request and that they would leave a message for him. Radio silence. In November, I called, spoke to someone, and was hung up on several times, so at this point it's obvious they are not following up with me intentionally. The right thing to do would have been to refer me to someone else and cover the bill. It's completely unacceptable that this issue was never resolved and I would not recommend this business to anyone. I LOVE my Atlas and plan to purchase another one in the future but it certainly will not be from VW Gainesville.

To be honest, you can’t expect much from a car dealership because they’re all focused on making the most money they possibly can but I personally don’t understand how people can exploit a buyer’s ignorance and sleep at night. I did end up buying a car from here but I still got finessed in the finance office in some aspects even though I have experience in buying cars. I couldn’t imagine what it’d be like not having any experience and going into that office. Again, what can you do? It’s a dealership and a business. I probably won’t buy from here again because of how my experience went but don’t get me wrong there are staff members that are awesome and work with you. This is just a warning to let you know to be on your toes and understand every aspect of the car buying process. 2/5 stars is kind of harsh. I’d say a 2.7 is more accurate.
