  Pretty good service overall. While the prices are on the higher side, they’re still reasonable for the quality you get. The staff member who helped me, Paula, was great — she speaks Spanish, so Spanish-speaking customers will have no trouble communicating. I accidentally left something valuable in my rental car and didn’t realize it until two days later. It was a rare movie replica that would’ve been very expensive to replace. Thankfully, they found it and kept it safe in their lost and found until I was able to pick it up. I’m extremely grateful for their honesty and professionalism. You can definitely trust this location to take care of you — even if you forget something in the car. and they have military discount lol

  Disappointed with the Service. My Family of 6 booked a large SUV. To be fair we booked it the evening prior to our arrival and received a confirmation code. During the booking process, the system allowed me to provide additional remarks for the rental company. I informed them of our arrival time and the number of people in my travel group to ensure they would hold the large SUV for us. When we arrived at Fort Walton airport, I contacted Step One via phone to ensure they had my reservation and they said yes they did. We then took an Uber to Step One Car Rental and arrived an hour earlier than our reservation time. They informed me they already gave the large vehicle away about an hour prior. I was floored, they literally told me they had the vehicle before I spent $50 in an Uber to ride out to their location, only to find out they actually didn’t have my vehicle. Don’t waste your time trying to save a few dollars here, just rent from the airport and save yourself this hassle.
