- TJTerri James4 days ago5.0I arrived for a service appointment. I really had no intentions of purchasing a newer vehicle, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to look! I asked to see a salesman to discuss what they had in stock. Troy Taylor met me in the service department and took me to the sales department. There was a 4 year newer XC90 that had more options than my 2020. We went for a test drive, and upon returning to the dealership, I asked if they could give me numbers if I traded mine in. Within a few short hours, Troy had assisted me in moving my belongings from my "old" car to my "NEW to me" 2024, with only 18K miles, and it is a Volvo Certified Pre-Owned car. This is my 2nd Volvo from Volvo of Ft. Myers, and my 7th over the last 38 years! Volvo of Ft. Myers has always taken care of me!

He was very clear with the needs that I had for my vehicle and understood how to make this appointment as palatable as possible. He did everything possible to help me get through this repair in an affordable manner. He was pleasant, helpful, and professional.
- BSBenjamin SteinOct 28, 20251.0Went to look at a used, 2023 XC60 they had. Test drove the vehicle and all was good. I was ready to buy. But, the car had a big certified pre-owned banner in the window and a tag hanging from the mirror stating the car was certified. I agreed to a price with Dwayne, the used car manager. We then discussed a promotion Volvo was running with Costco where I would get a further $1,250 off a certified Volvo. Shortly after that, Dwayne tells me the car isn't certified, that was a mistake. It would cost another $1,200 to certify the car. That was the end of our experience there. The impression I got was that he knew full well the car wasn't certified and hoped that by the time we'd agreed on a price, I'd just overlook that. Felt deceptive and I decided not to do business with them at that point.
