  Had a great experience with Safelite Autoglass. I reported a claim for the glass repair through my insurance. I was then transferred to the Safelite website to set up an appointment. The website had most sections prefilled out and I had to select the type of car, sedan or hatchback, to ensure the correct glass was bought. I like that appointments were available within 24 hours. They offer 4 hour time frames for the appointments, either 8-4 or 1-5. The technician called to let me know when he was 30 minutes away. Once he arrived he knocked to let me know he had arrived and asked if I had any questions. He let me know it would take about an hour, but he was done sooner than that. He advised to wait 30 minutes before driving the vehicle Once her was finished and to not do a car wash for 48 hours. The entire process was seamless and easy. They sent text messages to remind you about each step as well. You can have the repair done wherever your car is located or you can bring the vehicle to them. My glass repair did not cost me anything through my insurance since I had comprehensive coverage. Check with your specific insurance to see what is offered. They also offer additional services, such as windshield wiper replacement, for an extra fee if you want it.

  This location did not offer service to your location and failed to disclose that the commercials showing the repair looking basically invisible afterwards was a marketing ploy but not actualized in real life. Nor should it be expected, their words. I left being told it wouldn’t spread but not to expect not to see it, and if it caused a reflection in my eyes I may have to replace window. I left feeling like I have been duped by misleading marketing and will eventually have to replace my windshield. Photo is before any work on it as you can see a very small chip front and center so hard to not see it while driving. The repair resulted in the individual crack lines looking dimmable but one remains and the chip in the center remains.

  Gotta say im pretty shocked at how poor the company in general handled I had a replacement glass done last year.... dropped off at the facility everything went fine Discovered the glass had a small crack a few weeks ago and called it in.... needed to be verified it was not impact damaged and it would be covered.... so far no issues Fri the 13th (yes the irony 😑) tech comes out to the house around noon to do a mobile windshield replacement "Issac" nice guy showed up and everything was goin well till the glass going in broke.... Understandable things happen.... the old glass was put back in At this point i now have an windshield that is completely shattered 😲. What was a small 4-5 inch crack barely visible turned into 20+ cracks spanning the entire windshield. Tech explained this was his only option and that i could drive it to the facility or they would reach out to me.... he leaves at 1p I can understand and be reasonable up to a certain point of THINGS HAPPEN.... i tried calling the local branch..... BS #1 it all goes to call center and they have to try calling the branch for you.... NO LUCK. i call back several times. Same results nothing gets passed being hung up on transferred to voicemail.... Finally get a nice lady who seemed to care a lil and got into the system and set me an appointment for Tuesday 17th.... best she could do and im grateful cause at this point its now after 5p and the branch has YET to reach out to me Monday 16th i Finally after multiple calls again get Abby the Asst Mgr on the line.... i explained everything that happened... assures me im on the schedule but will make sure to call me and let me know what estimated time frame i should expect. Dont get a call from her or anything Tuesday i get a undated email with a time and the tech showed up and swapped window out Still haven't heard back from Mgr Job is now complete 1 star for the job coming to an end However this here is a Nationwide Company with branches Everywhere How do you guys fall this bad on customer service, follow thru, retention and hell on the event of an emergency they dont even answer the phones!!! Do Better Safelite Communication is Key A phone call and apology and maybe a lil good ole Customer Service would have gone a long way Dont recommended this location at all

  Did windshield repair on Saturday march 7th picked up car at 4:00 pm first called at 4:50 pm same day for parking tag is missing from the car. Called three straight days customer care as well no contact to the shop. Now says trash already very poor customer service and manager is rude never picking call anybody at the store even customer care called them too many times. Furthermore they shows online mobile repair but once it for insurance claim they don’t have any appointments for months. Suggest not to go over there particular location 3733 Fowler st Cape Coral 33901

  So far the experience of setting up an appointment and getting has been great. After my appointment I will update this review. I have experience with Safelite AutoGlass in Wisconsin which is why I choose this one in Ft. Myers. Stay tuned in as I will finish this soon. Update, had the repair done today. I was told up front the chip repair would take care of the chip from spreading but would still see the crack. Yes I can still see it with haze where it was filled. Was told if not satisfied they could put in a new windshield, I feel that was a form of up selling. The little haze I feel is a ???? If this was a near new car it would not be acceptable. The work raises a flag for me, the haze should be totally clear. I think the haze was caused by overfilling the crack with the resin or was not properly mixed? It definitely could have been cleaned off better! The process went smoothly and a nice facility. Work is a big question in my mind. Definitely not the outcome I was expecting cosmetically.
