Recently, I came in for just an oil change. My car takes 5 quarts full synthetic. With cost of supplies and labor it should come out to no more than $80. And that’s on the high end of cost and disposal fee. I spoke to someone I’ve never seen there before and he told me it would be $150 for just an oil change. Of course I question the cost and he said prices have gone up. The paperwork had the basic cost with an extra $63 fee added onto it. After I questioned it, it dropped back down to $81 minus that $60 added fee….. I felt like he tried to take advantage of me And I wouldn’t know what things cost. First time I’ve ever had this issue there and it really turned me off on ever going back when I can just do the work myself.
