I had a horrible service experience in this dealership-Colonial Toyota Milford. The people working in the service department are very rude. The technician gave me very unnecessary recommendations to do an oil flush for nearly $600 though my car just had 30k mileage which I declined. After I paid additional $90 charges for the air filter change they told me I would get my car back the same day but they kept it over night. The following day when I called to inquire about them when delivering my car the gentleman who answered the phone very unprofessional and he told me, 'there was nothing he could do, either I waited or I could drive more than 40 minutes and pick the car up myself'. I deeply regret choosing this dealership for my car's maintenance; the service was unacceptable and I'm extremely disappointed with the outcome. Stay away from Colonial Toyota Milford for car service!

Customer service–wise, the staff here is always polite and respectful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. I’ve been here multiple times for scheduled appointments. To be fair, they are usually able to get you in faster than other Toyota dealerships — which is ultimately why I kept coming back (my mistake). However, your appointment time means absolutely nothing. Every single visit, I’ve waited at minimum 2 hours with my longest wait being 4.5 hours for basic services like a tire rotation, oil change, and a simple fluid top-off. This has been consistent, not a one-off experience. The biggest issue is pricing. The service recommendations are wildly overpriced, far beyond what the same work costs elsewhere — even at large chain shops. For example: • Coolant service: quoted $335 here → Same service at Firestone: $143 + tax • Brake fluid flush: quoted $245 here → Firestone: $130 + tax • Spark plugs: quoted $292 here → Parts sourced independently: $127 out the door • Cabin & engine air filters: quoted $160+ combined → Which is outrageous as it costs $30–40 total for both. • Brake & rotor work (front and rear): quoted well over $1,400 → Independent mechanic with quality parts: $650–850 I understand dealerships are more expensive, but this level of markup paired with long wait times and upselling services that either aren’t urgent or are easily done elsewhere is unacceptable. If you’re coming here, expect: • Long waits regardless of appointment time • Aggressive service recommendations and aggressive upselling • Prices that are 2–3× market rate Polite staff and a free car wash doesn’t make up for consistently poor value.

I purchased a 2025 Toyota 4 Runner from Colonial Toyota in Milford. Mitch Paz was my salesperson and he knew every detail about the truck. He made the sale as smooth as possible. Mitch knew what I wanted with both the truck and numbers and he made it happen. Eric Scharf was in finance and the deal continued to go smoothly. I cannot recommend the truck , the dealership or the staff any higher. I would absolutely purchase another vehicle from the dealership. If you are in the market for a Toyota ask for Mitch Paz. Thank you, Colonial Toyota !

I had to wait 3.5 hours for an oil/fluid change and tire rotation. Not because it was incredibly busy, but because my service supervisor took a one-hour lunch break precisely as the repair process was finished. He didn't give it to someone else to handle when he departed, so I had to wait an extra hour. The other supervisors at the desk have an odd approach. When I tried to ask one of the women how much longer I should wait, she answered in a harsh tone that she is busy. Overall, i had a really terrible experience with the service. Sadly, I purchased a maintenance contract with them. After that, I will never come back here.

We just had our Rav4 Plug-in Hybrid serviced for an oil change and a recall. I would start by saying that our service representative and the person who checked in the car were polite and knowledgeable. HOWEVER, we had a 10:20 appointment. Service on our car was NOT even started that day. There were so many cars lined up for service that obviously Colonial puts the bottom line in front of customer convenience. We needed the car the next day and were stuck--totally because Colonial overbooked. Terrible customer service. In addition, during the previous appointment, we were told that over $800 in maintenance was recommended. We declined. This time, none of the previously recommended issues were mentioned and the mechanic said everything was fine. The previous recommendations now sound like a scam. How is it possible that $800 in maintenance was recommended and 6 months later not even mentioned? We would NOT recommended service at Colonial Toyota and hope the company changes its practices to be more customer-oriented, instead of caring about increasing the bottom line.
