    Horrible experience with Colonial of Milford. Initially went in with interest in buying a Corolla GR that was allocated to their dealer. I did my research and made sure to ASK if it was available for reservation prior to making any deals or deposits. I was told that i could place a deposit to reserve the car for myself and i would be contacted when it arrived as it was still in the build phase. Waited a month, then one salesmen finally reaches out and tells me that they are actively looking to find me a car. I respond mentioning that i had already RESERVED a car that was already allocated to their dealership and promised to me. I then get left on read for a few days with no response ( second time this happened with a sales associate horrible communication and customer service but i continue to try and do business with them despite my bad feeling). The following week the same salesman writes to me again without responding to my last question, so i follow up by asking the same question which he then responds that the car was reserved by someone else and it was a miscommunication from the GM that allowed me to reserve the car. I told him that this was unacceptable and he said the GM would call me shortly. An entire week goes by with 0 communication from the dealer to make things right or apologize for the "misunderstanding". This as a whole was a sign of lack of empathy and customer service, no interest in earning my business, zero accountability, and overall just no respect for a potential customers time. I will likely leave a complaint with the DMV dealer licensing department. For the record i am very easy to deal with and very flexible** this is not someone trying to tarnish a dealerships name any reason, I hardly ever even leave reviews, but this experience was just extremely unprofessional.

    Jason is the guy to go to if you’re looking for a car! Jason promised me that if I came in I would walk away with a car. He delivered exactly that! He was patient, understanding, and truly went above and beyond to make the process smooth and stress free. His customer service is unmatched, and I’m so grateful for his help. If you’re looking to buy a car, definitely ask for Jason!

    I have had the opportunity to meet with Jose Rodriguez the sales representative who assisted me with the purchase my vehicle in March 2025. I have had the intentions to post my comments earlier but now I found the time to do it. I was able to submit a separate email that I received on April 2025 about "Feedback about Your Recent 2025 Corolla Purchase Experience" and I replied with this message that I also want to share through this medium to compliment all the assistance that I received to purchase my vehicle at Colonial Toyota in Milford, CT. I am pleased with the assistance of Jose Rodriguez who assisted through his expertise to purchase my vehicle at Colonial Toyota. I want to express my gratitude to the salesperson Jose Rodriguez who went above and beyond in providing an excellent customer assistance to truly make my purchasing experience showing dedication, patience and excellent communication. I want to thank also the staff the financing staff who also help me prepare my paperwork to purchase my vehicle. I also want to thank the management in general who also contribute with their expertise in sharing the inventory of vehicles to let me know about the vehicle that I was interested to purchase at their dealership.     Extremely disappointed from Colonial Toyota service department. I had an appointment for my oil change, when pulled in early into service bay I was reached by service manager who was asking for me to wait 2 and half hour for oil change service - This is ridicules Colonial Toyota, do not book service if you cannot handle the load or just booking too many and do not care about people time. How would you feel if you show up in your doctor office for your appointment, but they ask you to wait 2.5 hours for your appointment, I am furious. I went to Valvoline without any appointment, and they change the oil in 10 minutes. You tell me if I should ever return to Colonial Toyota ever again? you be the judge.

    I recently had my car serviced and had a not so good experience with Ana Vargas. My husband dropped off our car for a scheduled maintenance appt, upon arrival she ignored him and someone volunteered to assist my husband even stating " i dont know whats up with her, but i will take you". We appreciate the other staff for always stepping in and apologizing to us for her lack of courtesy and rudeness. Then our car needed to be serviced for a recall and scheduled maintenance and she never called us to let us know the car was ready or the status. I needed my sons car seat if they were keeping the car. So in the evening I called in over and over and was on my way to get it until I finally got a gentlemen on the line who again was nice enough to find out what was happening and if my car was ready. He got everything done and apologized for the technician not calling us. I was able to pick up my car that evening. If being a tech is not her job then why assign her to us to then provide such poor service. This is the 2nd time Mrs. Ana Vargas has not provided professional customer service to my family and I. The first few times i did not complain i just thought well maybe she is having a bad day as all humans are allowed to have but this time it was rudeness from beginning to end. She delivered our car to us and I said Thank You once again to be polite and she just ignored both my father and I. I am extremely disappointed with this treatment from this individual. I own 3 Toyota Vehicles two bought from Colonial and usually have had pretty good service. Dwayne Taylor has always been polite and so has Rocco. But these past two times have not been the most pleasant. I hate considering having my cars serviced elsewhere, she is supposed to be an assistant service manager of this location she has a very disappointing attitude for working in customer service. I recently purchased a Toyota Highlander from Toyota of New Rochelle and so far their customer service and response time has been great. Thank you to those at Colonial that did help my family and I.
