If, heaven forbid, life happens, and you leave the garage 9 minutes late, they will send you a ticket for $102, and when you try to fight it, they won't waive it. Be aware that you are also unable to extend parking if booking through SpotHero or pay an additional fee upon exit if you exceed your reservation time. Also, the garage looks like a dilapidated crack house - frequent graffiti & vandalism, drug addicts sneaking in to shoot up...not great!
- SASarah AppletonApr 1, 20241.0I normally don't leave reviews, but I personally went out of my way to find this parking garage so I could leave this review. Please avoid this parking garage at all costs! We pulled into this garage around 1:30 p.m. while trying to find public parking for the Brown Palace. This parking lot is in absolute shambles and it looks completely dilapidated and abandoned on the inside. It literally felt like we were driving into a horror movie set of an abandoned parking garage. With the state of the garage, it appears to have been built in maybe 1900 or the late 1800s and does not appear to have been renovated or maintained since the day it was built. On the inside, there were extremely dimly lit yellow-orange square lights, uneven flooring, narrow and damp passages, broken pieces of concrete littering the ground, shattered windows hanging onto their last creaky hinges, and filth all around. It seemed like a perfect place for black mold and asbestos to grow. I think only three cars were parked in the entire parking structure of around eight levels, and for good reason. This place felt extremely unsafe and just plain spooky. In hindsight, we should have just turned around the moment we drove into the place. I am genuinely still creeped out just thinking about how eerie this parking garage was. Caution, please do not park here unless you want your car to get stolen vandalized, or even worse. Especially at night, I cannot even imagine how creepy this crumbling place would be in that setting. Please avoid this parking structure for your own safety.
