  While checking out with Sara, Richard interrupted and started talking loudly AT me and over Sara. I waited, hoping he would find something else to entertain him while Sara and I finished our conversation about the card error, but the interaction took a dark turn when Richard said, "would you like me to come around and help you put your card in?" Considering this question with his tone, posture, and overall demeanor, I realized he was quickly escalating this to a potential physical aggression event, so I put my card away and told him I absolutely would not tolerate such behavior, and clearly stated that I was waiting for him to go away so I could finish my transaction with Sara. At this point he stated he was taking over the transaction whether I liked it or not, took my items off the counter, and said, "I'm sorry sir" several times. I left before he could cause any more trouble, I'm sure I can find lunch somewhere else; and almost certainly without such a bad attitude or threats of physical aggression. I remember fondly the days when you could count on Maverik for clean fuel, good hot food, a variety of cold drinks, and friendly staff. Not so much these days...

  I never leave reviews but this is bad enough for the to waste my time on. Out of hot food at the most important times of the day. Always have to ring up my own stuff as staff it rarely there, They do not put the proper time stamp on the food. Maverick, you are loosing a lot of money and clients by the minute! Could be ran so much better.

  The man in his 60s or so with white hair is the rudest person I have come across in customer service since I've been to Colorado. I let him know their toilet was out of order and he took it out on me. First he told me there was no deals, rudely. It took the customer behind me to let me know there was a good deal on zen. Then I asked him for 9 mg pouches and he gave me 6 mg. Very disappointing experience. Almost insulting.
