  This review is for Metropolis, but not necessarily this garage (I parked in the 11th & Spruce one). The city of Boulder should throw this terrible company out the window. Leaving didn’t register my license plate, so I had to manually stop the ticket. But that apparently didn’t work. I got charged for the ticket I manually stopped, but then two days later I additionally got a notice that I was still being charged. Now I’ve been in email customer service hell with Metropolis for two weeks and have THREE charges on my credit card bill for one under-an-hour visit. Probably better to contact the city of Boulder than leave a review here – but figured I’d send you a warning.

  I have used Metropolis for several years without incident. But, today they processed a 9.99 charge on my card for "authorization". I contacted my credit card company and they said that a credit for the same amount was issued. The young man I spoke to was arrogant and a smart mouth and he didn't like the language I used so he hung up on me. Seems he forgot the original problem. Unauthorized charges are a poor business practice. Stop it. My credit card has always been good and there has never been any problems. This pushes fraud.

  Overly priced and incredibly rude customer service when I had difficulty paying for parking because their system didn’t work.

  Parking lot was not packed the couple times I have parked here. Easy access to Pearl street shops and restaurants. Do not scan the QR code posted in the garage! I suggest going to Avanti food court and go to the podium at the entry doors, where a person will be standing. Ask the person for the QR code to scan for parking. Then get some coffee/drinks at the food court (if you’re going somewhere else to eat around Pearl street). No need to get a ticket validated, just drive through the exit at end of parking session.

  Misleading and confusing – beware especially if you're driving a rental I parked here on a Saturday, assuming it was one of Boulder’s City garages. The entrance looked the same, the gate was open, and the layout was nearly identical to other City-run garages. A few months later, I got an invoice from the rental car company: a $55.25 parking violation charged by the garage, plus a $30 handling fee from the rental company. Turns out this garage is not a City garage — even though it's operated by Metropolis, the same company that runs the official City garages. That makes it incredibly confusing. Parking is free on weekends and holidays at City garages, but not here. There’s no prominent signage warning that this is a private garage or that City garage rules don’t apply. It’s easy to see how anyone — especially rental car drivers or people new to Boulder — could be misled. A quick glance at other Google reviews shows I'm far from the only one who fell into this trap. Until they make it unmistakably clear at the entrance that this is a private, non-City garage with different rules, I strongly recommend avoiding it. I’ll gladly revise this rating if they ever fix the signage and communication.
