How is it possible to buy such an expensive RV and still have to wait over a month for repairs? They make you pay a deposit to check that everything is working correctly, and if something isn't right, they're supposed to fix it. When you take it in for repairs, they tell you they don't have the parts and that they're going to order them. My RV has been sitting at their facility for over a month, and I have no idea when they're going to return it. I don't know who's in charge of this mess, but they should at least contact us to let us know what's going on!

I haven't been in a Camping World in probably 10 to 15 years if not even longer ago, I remember the one in SoCal near Valencia that my family would go to when I was a tween. The retail experience was good, I ended up buying a couple of small items, but I was really there to show my SO some of the van options, overall we were underwhelmed with the experience mainly from the standpoint of a lot of time I spent waiting around for our salesperson to show us one or two vehicles that fit the profile of we were looking for (a 144 high roof sprinter with AWD/4WD). In the end we ended up spending a fair amount of time in the office looking at websites on a computer monitor which I felt wasn't the best use of our time considering my expertise of knowing what I was looking for feature-wise and vehicle wise. Some of the other locations appear to have at least used vehicles on hand and that's really what I was looking for to start with. I mentioned to the salesperson the Entegra launch 19y as well as the jayco terrain if not also the Revel or similar options but considering the popularity of these smaller vans, they were out of stock at this apparently largest location in Northern California. We oddly spent a fair amount of time just waiting around while the sales person got permission to show us around, which we thought was a little unusual. Granted, I understand that the equipment is worth tens of thousands of dollars and for us to be walking around by ourselves may not be store policy, but I wasn't sure that it worked out well that use of our time in that way, I estimate that we spend about 20 minutes total time before and after the tour of a couple vans.

Customer experience is severely lacking at this place. I was overall happy with the trailer purchase, but our sales rep Jason was dropping the ball in numerous ways. I don't believe he cared much about providing the best customer experience. For example, we purchased the "let's go equipment" package and he forgot to load it in the trailer for us, a bit of an inconvenience since we live over an hour away. I called later to ask him to mail it to us, he said they don't do that and he'll drive it to us. I was a bit confused on why he wouldn't just mail it but nevertheless I was not going to make the trip back to Vacaville since it was their mistake. A couple of days later he says that it WILL be mailed to us. I asked for tracking information in two separate messages and I did not get a response from him. Finally, three weeks later we received the package today in a recycled chair box wrapped with a ton of cellophane. There were so many other mis-steps during the purchasing process that I won't get into, but super disappointing. I will definitely not recommend this location to any friends or family.

I read the rewiews and thought they can't be that bad. I WAS SO WRONG. They will promise you and put it in writing just to get your signature and you drive off the lot. Then when you follow-up- then comes the total frustration: after a couple weeks the sales man passes you to the sales manager and then after a week or so, passed on to the sales development manager. Then, several emails later, a couple phone calls from a person (unknown position) and they are still working on it. So, about eight weeks later, four people later. It's like groundhog day: "working on it", "I'll have so and so call you", "we are still working on it", "so and so is out sick today" (often) the same person is out of the office (week later). I even sent two emails to the CEO, crickets there. After they take your money listen to the door slam shut. I have been patient and respectful in all communications. I decided to post a review with just the facts and one star. So you will know what to expect from everyone from Camping World, from the top down. I intentionally left their names out of this post, just add Camping World in their place. I love my motorhome, I really do. The issue still not resolved.

I would NOT recommend this place. We had such a bad experience picking up our trailer and so much time wasted. First, it felt like we were getting nickeled and dimmed. It would have been nice up front to know the full out the door price of the Trailer. Instead we got the price of the trailer during the walk through. Then when we were considering the purchase, they added on the "good to go" package with included a number of things. Then when we when to pick up our trailer they were trying to sell us extended warranty. I don't get why all these numbers were not presented upfront with transparency. This was annoying but not the reason for the low review. After my partner and I made our deposit and locked in a date and time to pick up our Trailer, we were told it'll be a walk through and then signing some papers and we'll be able to drive it off. We were not told how long this would take. We arrived to our apt at 1pm, on time. We told the receptionist that we were here to see our sales person and that we were picking up our trailer and finalizing our transaction. We were paying in full with a cashiers check, no financing paper work. Our sales person was talking with other guest and we were told to wait. After 20 or so min of waiting a tech came out and said he'll do the walk through with us. During the walk through we noticed one of the trim was not even attached. We asked about it and the tech said he'll get someone to put that on. This is curious since the "good to go" package we got said they would do a walk through and check everything. How did they miss this trim? After a lengthy 1+ hour walk through (I told the tech i'm familiar with RV/Trailers so he can give cliff notes but still ended up being an hour long anyways), we went back to the sales area to meet our rep. He was still in a meeting. We waited in the waiting room another 20-30 or so min. We asked receptionist if he would be longer, her reply was "I dont know" so we told her we were going to step out to grab food as we hand had lunch yet. After returning from lunch, we told the receptionist we were back. Our sale person was not around. We were met by the finance person. He apologized for the wait and the miss communication. He was not told we were waiting. We didn't even need to wait for the sale person and one informed the finance person we were waiting as we needed to finalize paperwork with him. After a lengthy session with the finance person, who put in the pitch to up sell us on warranty, we signed the paperwork. I did ask him if we were going to get temporary plates as i didn't see it in the walk through. He said he already put it on there before meeting with us. When we left our session with the finance person, our sales rep met us to apologize once again about the wait and miscommunication. He asked if we had shown our proof of insurance to the finance person and we replyed with "we had it ready but he ddint ask for it". So we had to sit down AGAIN with our sales rep to record the insurance. While doing that he had the temp plate in hand and was getting that ready. This was curious because the finance person said it was already put on. We finally hitched the trailer and left 6pm. A TOTAL OF 5 HOURS! We thought it would only be 1-2 hours to do everything. On the road we realized they never gave us or showed us the "good to go" package during or after the walk through. When we txted our sales rep his reply was "it should be in the front storage compartment". When we got home we checked and nothing, they didn't give it to us. We called our sales rep and he again apologized that he should have checked. Fortunately he offered to drop it off as we refuse to drive back there to pick up a box that should have been in the trailer in the fist place. We live 1.5 hrs from this location. This could have been a better experience if the whole staff were on the same page, there was better transparency, and they more detailed oriented.
