    One of the worst parking spots in Downtown. Very cryptic prices, do not match the final bill. Evening rates say after 6pm, but not when you should leave. I was charged $25 when i thought it should be $10 even though I rushed to remove my car from the lot before 8am. Use any parkSJ lots instead. You can use it for parking for free under 90mins though :)

    I used that parking lot on Nov. 15 - I was able to tap my phone to open the gate to enter the underground lot but it didn't seem to register the phone on my way out. Since we'd stayed less than 90 minutes and the gate was open, I did not owe any money, so I just left after a few attempts. Every day since, however, they've been trying to charge my card for the maximum amount, increasing every day. I immediately called them on the next day, and they said they would resolve the matter quickly, but it's still happening and I'm at this point getting repeat $262.50 charges (no idea why the charges show 1st St. instead of 2nd St.) Edit: the daily charge attempts eventually stopped (at around $340). Adding one star back.

    Would not trust any of the parking garages in downtown San Jose. They have been trying to use our Apple Pay information since Halloween weekend.

    Big thanks to security guard Fred who found my car keys in the parking lot and returned them to me. Really appreciate his honesty and kindness!

    Find Alternative parking. I have parked at this location intermittently over the last 10 years. I want to share my experience today be aware. You need to either download an APP or insert your credit card before going into the parking lot below. As I provided my credit card to a scanner. When exiting, the card reader didn't recognize my credit card and I had to call customer service to resolve it. Customer service was helpful, but they had to send a link for me to pay that took an extra 5 min. This caused a line of card to line up behind me. The person in front of me faced the same issue. I will avoid parking in this location in the future.
