Terrible after the sale service. It took 3 months to fix the wobbly drivers seat. Then the fuel pump went out on the generator. Another 2 months to get the fuel pump and then the generator still wouldn’t start. Never return phone calls. Had to call a mobile RV company to come out and fix the problem at a cost of $610 which should have been covered under warranty by camping world. No return phone calls shows me they don’t care what happens after the purchase of the 2025 Forest River Georgetown 34H5.

We had an excellent experience working with John Yoshida, Carlos, and Jesus at Camping World San Diego! My mother and I needed to purchase an RV to live in full time, and John helped us find the perfect one to call home. We purchased a 2022 Grand Design Transcend Xplor 251BH, and the entire buying process was fantastic from start to finish. The travel trailer fits all of our needs, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. We originally came to Camping World after touring RVs at several other dealerships and had a few specific models in mind. John was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. After listening carefully to our needs while touring those campers, he asked if he could show us the Grand Design—and it turned out to be absolutely perfect for us. John stayed in consistent contact throughout the entire process and made sure we were well taken care of every step of the way. On the day of the walkthrough and delivery, we met Carlos and Jesus, who were equally wonderful to work with. Since my mom and I were completely new to RV life, Carlos took the time to explain everything in great detail and was extremely patient while I took notes and asked plenty of questions. During delivery, both Carlos and Jesus went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up properly, and we are incredibly grateful for their help. Overall, we would give Camping World San Diego a 10/10 and highly recommend scheduling an appointment with John Yoshida if you’re looking for an RV!

Customer services was good until after we purchased our toy hauler. We were on the market since February and went back and forth the sales person Jose kept checking in and sending units that were in our interest. Purchased the unit on October 4, 2025. We were told that the unit would be ready until October 11, 2025 due to it being inspected and washed. Mind you this is a brand new unit. We went camping the following weekend just to find out that the unit was not in working conditions. Reached out to our sales person that day and were told it would have to go to service but service was closed on weekends. Called that Monday to make an appointment and it was 2 weeks out. Explained that the generator had a code on it. Husband took time off of work to take the unit into service. After 3 days there I get call saying that the service department is not certified to work on generators. Why would have me take the unit there initially was my thought, asked to speak to the service manager. Multiple emails went back and forth and still no call from the service manager, sales person, or finance manager to get update on out unit. I was told to call a number for a mobile tech to come to my home and work on the unit requested the number and they didn't have it on hand. They emailed me the number and when I called they said they did not do warranty work for camping world. Called back and was told to take my unit to Cummins. This was on 11/13/2025 and information was not sent to me until 11/18/2025. Went to pick up the unit and it is currently still at the service department at Cummins. Waiting on parts that are on backorder. Its now 12/15/2025 and we have not been able to use the unit but have made 3 payments going on 4 and also have been paying insurance. Save yourself the headache it for sure isn't a on stop shop as they claim. Clearly no inspection was done prior to releasing the unit because they would have caught the issue. Still waiting on a call from someone at Camping World. At this point all we can do is wait for our unit to be fixed. Sounds like a joke being its a 2025 brand new unit. Luckily, Cummins has gone out of their way to get this resolved but parts are on backorder so who knows how long that will be but communication from Cummins has been excellent. They have also reached out to camping world to see what test were done and received minimal information. Maybe with my review someone from Camping World will reach out. Definitely not worth $69,000. Seriously make sure they check your unit.

Overall a great experience. But we paid for the let's go camping package which our salesperson said included a walkthrough for any electrical issues before we used it. After we picked it up and plug it in to shore power. The auto reset breaker immediately keeps tripping. We spent the first night without power. I was in disbelief and it was obvious nobody did an electrical check at all. I called them and they said their only servicing department was almost 50 miles away. I ended up changing the breaker myself and the issue was resolved. I hate leaving bad reviews, but when it's 0% effort is given to an overpriced add on, it kinda keep pisses me off until I say something about it.

I purchased a RV from Camping World San Diego back in early September of 2025 after looking for about 18 months. The sales team that helped me was fantastic and the camper itself is perfect fit for my family with no complaints. Upon getting to the financing portion the person assigned to help us Andrew Kubicheck was seemingly very ill prepared to finalize the process. The first problem was that the spelling of my wifes name was wrong, reprinted wrongly several times and there are still errors on the final paperwork that went through. This added an hour to the process at least. With two kids under nine who have already been there for two hours to get to that point they started getting impatient and distracting us. Andrew kept insisting we were getting a really great deal and apologized for the repeated mistakes with my wife's information. After five or six misprints the front pages were correct and we began signing. To this point, no one had explained anything about extended warranties and then we saw that the finance price was going to be significantly different than what we were expecting. We paused and asked Andrew who said the extended warranties are a really great deal due to the double discount labor day and trade show deals, and that they were fully refundable if we desired to change our mind after doing more research. We signed the extended warranty deal (adding $7,000 cost to a $26,000 trailer - the way our financing worked this $7,000 would cost well over $16,000 if only minimum payments paid through loan) with intent on looking into it without screaming kids. Within one day we had emailed Andrew with intent to cancel. He emailed me the cancelation paperwork and we processed it directly with the insurance company and sent Andrew copies he processed as well. After about a month, we hadn't gotten a refund and I checked in with Andrew. He said he checked into it and all policies were canceled and we should be getting our $7,000 refunded shortly. Within a week $1,000 was refunded (1/3 extended warranty policies successfully canceled.) I have been more than cordial with Andrew and emailed weekly to be assured he was working on it and that the refund was being processed. As of the writing of this review, the refund has still not been processed and interest continues to accrue on the product that we requested a refund on in early September. Upon reflection, the product was sold in a very deceptive manner and it seems camping world is trying their best to not honor their word on the refund. Therefore I am writing this review to warn other potential customers to be VERY WARY of the financing portion of this operation, it seems like a scam to me.
