Obviously the closest parking lot to The Long Beach Aquarium and the surrounding restaurants and Lions Lighthouse but the Elevators never work! We have a membership with the Aquarium which includes discounted parking so we park at this lot but only 1 out of the three elevators work. If you come on a weekend with a kid in a stroller you are better off breaking the stroller down and walking down the steps or else you have to wait a long time for the 1 single elevator that works!
Every time we come there is only 1 functional elevator, and the aquarium is popular with parents and their strollers so you can imagine the wait times for this 1 working small elevators that can hold maybe 2 strollers and a handful of adults. This is for the entire parking lot! So you have families from all parking floors trying to go down and come back up. This area is busy so I don't understand why whoever runs this lot isn't on top of repairing these elevators.
It's far easier to leave my family by the curb and I walk up and grab the car and pick them up at the round about at the Aquarium Fountain. This also works for your arrival as it saves head ache of having to lug down a stroller, simply pass the aquarium parking sign and turn right on aquarium way if coming from the 710 or left is coming west on Shoreline Drive. There is also a entrance to the parking structure from Aquarium way past the same round about mentioned before. Attached a map image I quickly created to help.
