  I’ve been going to Lux Paint Protection for over seven years, and these guys are the real deal. The owner is hands-on, detail-oriented, and genuinely cares about every car that comes through. They recently moved into a high-end spot near John Wayne Airport, which really fits the level of work they do. You learn a lot about a business not when things go perfectly, but when something goes wrong. After seven years, my paint protection film had started to yellow. Lux was still in business, still honoring their work, and they replaced the film without any hassle. That says a lot about their integrity. If you go with a cheap installer, you always have to wonder if they’ll even be around years later. Lux was, and they made it right. The new film looks even better than before, and you can tell the technology has come a long way. If you want real quality, accountability, and an owner who stands behind his work, Lux is the place to go.

  I recently purchased a 1999 BMW Z3 that needed a significant amount of paint work (repaint front and rear bumpers, rear quarter panel, and swirl marks everywhere). I got quotes from 5 shops ranging from indie shops to national chains. Lux was the last shop I visited and I quickly got the sense that they were a step beyond the rest. In terms of pricing, Lux was in the middle compared to other independent shops. They were much better priced than the big national shops. In terms of knowledge, Lux was by far the best. Knick knew more about my car than I did. He and Bel provided their thoughts on what they recommended based on the condition of my Z3 and were never pushy or salesperson-y. They are car enthusiasts who understand what is important to someone who takes pride in their car. Throughout the process, communication was effortless and transparent. Bel provided me updates with pictures and videos. She let me know if they found other issues and gave me options to fix them. The quality of their work is exceptional. The attention to detail is clear. They even replaced missing clips/bolts, cleaned out my wheel wells, and polished my headlights during the 1-step paint correction. My car is a daily driver, so I didn't ask for perfection in terms of chasing every swirl mark, repainting every panel with chips, etc. But I can confidently say that my car went from looking like a beater that needs a lot of work, to a car that is clearly taken care of and one that I am proud to look at. The Lux team went above and beyond and I believe that I received more value than I paid for. I will definitely be back with future projects and highly recommend Lux to anyone who values exceptional knowledge/service, fair prices, and transparency.

  Thank you so much for working on my twin turbo r8 it came out amazing. The ppf and tint work was the best I’ve ever seen.
