Gearhead accurately diagnosed my problem and repaired what needed to be done without insisting on things that "need to be done" at the same time. I was back on the road in no time!

I do not recommend this place to anyone. I started dealing with this company August of 2024 because they are in network with my SilverRock Warranty company. They fixed my turbo in August of 2024, car was fine after the fix. February of 2025, I went back to this shop for a wheel bearing/hub issue and they informed me I need to get the right hub/bearing replaced. He charged me $500 out of pocket and told me my warranty company was not going to cover it. I paid it. After the fix, my stabilitrack/ABS sensor started popping on the next day. I took it back and they said it was just a sensor. No help. No fix. Been driving with the sensor popping on and off after they touched my car. Forward to now May of 2025, my engine light started popping on and off. I didn’t feel safe or comfortable taking it back here so I found another in network shop that my warranty company deals with. I had took my car to the new shop, they had my car for 3 days and told me someone did the wheel bearing wrong and they were going to make a claim which alarmed me of what’s actually covered and not covered in my warranty.…. Come to find out GEARHEAD AUTOMOTIVE never called SilverRock warranty company to make a claim, to see if it was covered. I had SilverRock send me a form on what’s covered and what’s not covered in my warranty. My wheel/hub bearing is covered through my warranty when I read it. When he gave me the receipt, it had nothing about the work he did. So recently I informed my warranty company that he scammed me out my money by not putting a claim through the warranty company to see if it’s denied or covered. I went to his office and asked for a receipt, he calls Silverock and ask about the claim he never put in for my wheel bearing. The agent says I don’t see a claim but only for August of 2024, then Ray asked the agent if I was to put a claim in for her wheel/hub bearing today, would y’all pay for it? The agent said I don’t think so with this contract. I grab the receipt and walked out cause they doing a lot of thinking and not knowing. I went home and called SilverRock myself and asked if my wheel/hub bearings are covered under warranty. They said yes ma’am, it’s covered and you are still within your warranty term. He lied to the agent and said the man that fixed my car was supposed to call cause he was out the country. He wasn’t out no country because I dealt with him and the mechanic the entire time. He also told the agent he fired the mechanic that worked on my car but the man still is working on cars in his shop. Very unprofessional! They are LIARS HERE! They DO NOT FIX YOUR CAR CORRECTLY! THEY GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND AND THEY CHARGE YOU OUT OF POCKET AND TAKE YOUR MONEY WHEN THE PARTS AND LABOR IS COVERED UNDER YOUR WARRANTY COMPANY! Save yourself a headache! Bad bad business! Will never come back here ever again! If you are a woman, stay away and don’t get played by Ray and his team!!!
