Absolutely horrible experience with this dealership. WE ARE PRETTY SURE THERE WAS NO INSPECTION ON THE CAR WE BOUGHT BEWARE. Got a used car. Hyundai Elantra 2017 and have been having issues since THE DAY AFTER driving off with the car. The dealership called stating they “had more paperwork” for me to sign. I was on my way home from said instance and on the way home the car completely stopped on the freeway- incredibly dangerous and I could have died. We called the sales manager - utomi and he stated the service department would fix it for us. He seemed to have great intentions and honestly he’s the one we’ve actually had a decent experience with. However, I pushed to get a different car altogether and he promised their service team would get it fixed. Bought the car Nov.19th and took it in the 22nd. It continued to have THE SAME issue another 3 times before taking it in. We were given no update at the end of the day and I had to go up there and check how things were going. They stated the service team had closed and that they would be open that Monday. We were given the run around until the day before thanksgiving when Utomi finally informed me about a rental. Through that time the service team never answered my phone calls and had to have someone go up there everyday that I was at work to see if there were any updates- there were none. I was told there was a part that needed to be ordered and they would get it fixed but the car hadn’t moved from where we first dropped it off. They then stated the car would have to be taken across the street to get fixed finally. Yeah that didn’t happen. Eventually when we got the car back, within 10 minutes of driving the car it HAD THE SAME ISSUE- stopped in the middle of the road. We took the car back to the service department where the man who gave us the car back- thick black square glasses- that they actually never found the issue to the car and therefore did not fix the issue. Wow. My girlfriend and I were frustrated because that was not what I was told when I picked up the car. Then we asked for the same rental car that we had and he stated they “no longer had the car available”… it was on the lot in the same spot we had JUST dropped it off at. Incredibly rude. Luckily utomi helped us out and went himself to go get the keys and we got the rental back. HOWEVER all we want is this loan to be cancelled. Even the finance team said they couldn’t do anything with the car because “it’s reading as the car is still on the other lot” WHILE ITS ON THEIR LOT which makes absolutely no sense. would not recommend getting a vehicle here or any McLarty lot. Who knows what’s going on behind the scenes to make money unethically. Especially given the fact that we were going there in person EVERYDAY at one point and they still refused to cancel the loan. You would think they would be sick of us at that point but apparently they enjoy screwing people out of their money. We don’t want a different car with this awful dealership we want our money back. It’s a shame to make payments on a car you haven’t even had in your possession for a full 48 hours when I bought the car MID NOBEMBER AND ITS NOW JANUARY…

My salesman was amazing at selling me the truck that I purchased from the dealership. They need to have a better phone system and actually let you talk to someone instead of using AI all the time.

Nathaniel was an amazing salesman! He got me in and out and in a 2026 vehicle, Now I did start having problems a week into having the vehicle(not his fault) Now the service department communications not so great! As well as the lady Kim H. In the lobby waiting area HORRIBLE customer service. Literally walked away mid conversation to tell me she “had to go eat at her Christmas party”!

We had a terrible experience buying a car at McClarty Nissan of Little Rock in November that I seriously considered calling the Arkansas Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division for fraudulent advertising and trying to bait and switch us on the price of a used car. My daughter wrecked her car and after we got the insurance payout, we found a car online in our budget. We called about the car and let them know we wanted to pay for the car in full. However, when we were test driving the car, we were told that price was only if we financed the vehicle. They tried to claim it was in the fine print in the ad, but I made them pull it up and proved to them that it wasn’t. I asked to speak to the manager and he said they wouldn’t make any money without the 5% back they received from the finance company. Keep in mind, we didn’t set the price or put it on the website. I also looked up the blue book value of the car and saw that they probably bought it for $10,000 to $11,000 and sold to us for $14,500 - making a profit of at least $3,500 after having the car on their lot for 3 days. I finally asked them if they were going to sell us the car or not and they had to go call the GM. They kept us there for 4 hours (I think hoping we would get frustrated enough to leave), but by then we were frustrated enough to dig our heals in. They finally allowed us to give them $14,500 (plus some fees they threw in - they tried to claim at least they weren’t charging us for the extras on the car, but you can’t legally do that anyway on a used car). When we finally met with the finance guy, that was an experience in and of itself as he kept talking about the importance of home schooling children (knowing we are both teachers) and growing organic food. We have bought 4 cars with McClarty in the last 5 years 3 in North Little Rock and 1 in Little Rock and while my 3 experiences in NLR were great, I will never buy from them again. I have also shared my experience with everyone I know. Your practices are misleading and violate fair pricing laws. Shame on you!

McLarty Nissan is absolutely the worst dealership I have ever had an experience with in my entire life.
they listed a car online that was of the type I was interested in buying. it was a 2013 Ford explorer. I reached out to them as I was interested in the car. they said come up for a test drive so I did. they originally had the car listed for $10,995 which was a slight bit over what I was originally intending on spending. I arrived at the dealership and was paired up with a salesman by the name of Tyler I think or something like that. Tyler was a very bad salesman incredibly arrogant, had this air as if he was doing me a favor by showing me the car. also was very up your butt the whole time while you're trying to look at the car which is incredibly distracting. we went for a test drive and while on the drive he asked how I intended to purchase the vehicle. I mentioned that I was intending on paying cash, he proceeded to explain to me that if you are buying a car in cash then the car will be more expensive cuz the price they list is only for a finance price cuz apparently they get paid for forcing people to finance vehicles so that you can pay a bunch of interest on your car. I informed him that I was actually interested in paying a little bit less than that and was informed that there is absolutely no way they could go any lower on the value of the car as it was the lowest possible value they could sell it for. when we return to the dealership he said he would go and talk to his manager and find out just exactly how much they would sell the car for he came back out and tell me that they wanted to sell the car for almost $13,000 with the increased cost from me paying cash and a bunch of a parent fees that they charge you for like cleaning the car, but said he could do me a big favor and have them wave all those extra fees and just sell the car to me for $12,000 which is $1,000 over the original asking price. I told him I was not interested in paying $12,000 for the car he then proceeded to say he might be able to meet me in the middle at 11500. I told him again that I don't know if I'd be able to do that. also told him that my wife would have to look at the car before I would consider buying it. I had really decided if I was going to come back and look at the car or not when then I noticed online they had dropped the price from the original price of $10,995 to $10,495. which I found rather odd being as I was told that they could not possibly go any lower on the car cuz it was already priced at the lowest possible price. it said it to go back up there and let my wife drive the car see if she liked it. after driving the car I was again told that the lowest possible price he could go for cash would be $11,500 oh I forgot to mention plus $129 docking fee that they can't take off of there for any reason. so we left again I then noticed today which was a couple of days later they have posted the car on Facebook for $9,995 which is really odd because that's the price I was requesting to pay. when I mentioned to inquire about it they were in the process of selling the vehicle to another customer.
I don't know if anybody else thinks this way but to me that is absolutely a disgusting way to do business they could have sold the car to me originally when I went up and looked at it for the price they ended up selling the damn car for anyway. when I inquired about it they recommended that I come up and look at other vehicles, yeah not a damn chance I will never ever ever go back up to McLarty Nissan, not just for the bad salesman but for the absolute terrible way that they do business.
they are con artists and they will lie to you anyway they can to get your money
