This review reflects my dissatisfaction with ICE - the international currency supplier used by AMA. Funds were delivered days late - not as promised by ICE via the AMA website. Realizing the staff have no control (they were supportive and lovely) I would rate my experience with the currency purchasing service as poor...do not recommend.

The gift cards that you can purchase …. Such a joke. I do this to not only save money, but to save time.
Instead, it tells me it can’t verify my AMA account so I have to call or go into AMA to put more money on my so called reloadable card.
The staff at the branch are all great, but whoever is in charge of your online presence needs to get a demotion or learn to get your site user friendly.
Your whole website is a farce, and in today’s online world, you should be ashamed of your lack of being able to do business.
WOW …. Just so mickey mouse and sub standard. Shame on you.

If you attempt to make a claim, ask a question, or seek clarification about your policy, prepare yourself for complete frustration.
You will not get through. Your call will either be dropped or rerouted to an offshore call centre where the staff have no ability to assist you. The standard response is, "Please call AMA Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m."
The entire experience is convoluted, inefficient, and nearly impossible to navigate. There is no clear path to getting answers, no reliable way to speak with someone who can actually help, and no accountability when things go wrong.
It raises a serious concern: what happens if you're in a car accident and need urgent support? Based on this experience, I wouldn’t count on AMA to be there when you need them most.
Cancel your policy, find someone else. Do your due diligence on customer service, run away as you would a Grizzly bear from AMA.

I had an excellent experience with Kristi at AMA Lethbridge. She was professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to resolve an issue with my membership history. Kristi also took the time to explain my policy changes clearly and made sure I received the best rate I’ve been quoted. She kept me updated throughout the process by email and had everything sorted out within a day. Outstanding customer service!
