Disappointing Experience With AMA MyPace – Not Worth It. I was genuinely interested in AMA’s MyPace program because I drive less than 9,000 km a year and thought it would finally help me save money on insurance. Instead, I was quoted $2,700, which is basically the same as a regular insurance policy. There were no real savings at all. And this was for doing 6500 kms/ year! The program also requires a tracking device in your vehicle, which adds restrictions without offering any financial advantage. On top of that, the customer service was extremely frustrating. You can’t get through on the phone. The online system won’t provide a quote. I had to go into a physical AMA location and waited over an hour just to speak with someone who had a very dismissive, “take it or leave it” attitude. Between the lack of savings and the poor service experience, the whole process was disappointing. The program is advertised as a money-saving option for low-mileage drivers, but that was definitely not my experience. You’re honestly better off sticking with a regular policy from your current provider.

When 95% of the customers are in one line (driving & registry services), you'd think staff in other departments would help out. This is the case at other AMA locations but not here. All the other staff were pretending to be busy with not a customer around while the customers actually here are stuck in a 30+ minute line. AMA Crowfoot staff needs to pull up their socks.

AMA has come to my rescue not once but twice now. The call operators are very clear and empathetic, and have prioritized my requests as highway service gets priority. The drivers are very quick and professional and do a great job calming you down. Thank you to AMA for always being so great and helpful! Truly I don’t know what I would do in these situations without these guys.

Would like to give half star if I could , I waited over 45 minutes for insurance help, another man before me waited in the cue but was not listed, I let him go first. You folks need to get a better system for service. There was no text message or email or any indication if you were in a cue or if you were next at all. No indication how long until it was your turn or even an estimation. I was on a call with another insurance company, waited 5 min on phone and got a quote while I was waiting in the lobby . I never did get to talk to anybody, I walked out. Then I get a phone call back, but when I missed the and tried to call back I was on hold for over an hour and a half!!! Until the place closed. And they hung up. Horrible !!!

We have been AMA members for years! Today was a disappointing visit to AMA at Crowfoot, our 22 year old son needed vehicle insurance, we had made a call to AMA Nov 7/25 & were given a quote reference #, In an attempt to complete the process we arrived at the AMA Crowfoot the following day at approximately 3:35pm, we were told there were too many people in front of us and that there wouldn’t be enough time to assist us ….My husband said are you sure you can’t help us? It’s not 5 and your office hours state open until 5pm, he was told there were only three agents working and we were turned away….. I myself have worked in customer service for 25 plus years, if a customer shows up prior to closing hours, rest assured they should be assisted! Not having enough staff or being told there were too many people ahead of us does not lie on the fault of the customer! This is not good business practice and terribly poor customer service!!
