2 children, 2 over 60 movie tickets, 1 medium popcorn, 3 sodas, 1 rum/coke = $103. Wow, what happened? Oh yes I almost forgot, 35 minutes of commercials in your face. Will be extinct at some point, but I guess so Will I. P.s. SpongeBob rocks :-)

We went here to watch Avatar 3 as a family. The movie was good, the popcorn was good, nice fountain drink selection. The food was bad (Flix Brewhouse in Madison is better).
However, we had a terrible interaction with the teenager at the cash register. My mother asked what was on the burger and this employee proceeded to be visibly annoyed by the question. When asked what was on a different burger the employee sighed and rolled his eyes. My mother then apologized for asking what was on the burgers and the employee didn’t even respond. I ordered and while I was going to pay I apologized an AGAIN the employee didn’t respond.
1) My mother has allergies to some foods.
2) The menu didn’t list the ingredients
3) We even apologized twice when we shouldn’t have too.
I feel that we were EXTREMELY disrespected by this employee and honestly I would terminate this individual immediately if they worked for me. I have friends who know Greg Marcus personally and he would be ashamed by how this location runs.

Have been here numerous times with no complaints!
Last night, I took my two daughters to the Stranger Things finale. There was some hiccup with the $40 food/beverage credit that was included with the tickets. Supposedly, we were supposed to get an email the day prior with gift certificates for $40, but these never came. The concession staff member was super kind and offered to get her manager right away to take care of the situation. The manager was understanding and more than reasonable. It sounded like corporate dumped information on them at last minute and let each theater figure it out for themselves. The manager figured out how to get our $40 gift certificatesl accounted for and we went on our merry way, snacks and drinks in hand.
Being NYE, it was crazy busy but we still received quick service and had our little issue solved right away.
I only wish I would have gotten the concession counter staff members name and the managers name because they deserve individual mentions.
We will be back!

I'd give this zero stars if I could. Some back story: Last weekend my son and I went to see the movie David. He has only seen maybe 3 movies in his 8 years of life, so we were so excited for this time together. A month or so ago I called and spoke to a manager about the possibility of having popcorn popped without the artificially colored oil/seasoning and was told yes. So, last weekend we got the theater, and a manager was so nice to happily pop some popcorn for us without the oil. I brought my own butter for it since the "butter" there has it in it as well. We got to the theater only to find out that there were technical difficulties and the movie was canceled... The manager was generous enough to refund us for the popcorn and the movie. So, I bought tickets that day for today's showing of David.
Fast forward, and this morning I called to make sure it would be playing and mentioned the popcorn thing and the gal said she would let concessions know. We get there, and two young guys who seemed to be new made the popcorn. It took awhile to pop, so I took my son to the theater to sit. I came back for the popcorn and it looked as yellow as the regular stuff. An assistant manager came over and said they couldn't pop it without the coloring. I said that last weekend it was plain white popcorn. At this point, the general manager (I believe that was his position), James B., came over. He told me that they couldn't do it without the oil because it would "burn the popcorn and stink up the place for the patrons." I explained that last weekend the manager did it without a problem and it didn't burn. He started getting frustrated and raising his voice telling me there was no way to do it. He finally said he could try to use a very small amount of oil, and I said okay.
The assistant manger was about to refund me and James said, "No, we aren't refunding her if she is going to get popcorn." I said that if anything I should for the inconvenience since the movie has already started and I have to wait now for more. He yelled, "We are being inconvenienced by having to make popcorn for you because you don't want oil in it!" At this point I was in tears and I said it's not the oil, it's the artificial color in the oil that my son cannot have. I told him that last weekend the manager refunded me the popcorn without a problem to which he said, "We can't give you free popcorn every time." I said that I wasn't expecting free popcorn and the reason I got it free last week was because the movie that we bought the popcorn for was canceled. He said we could bring our own popcorn next time. I told him we wouldn't be back.
He did quietly say he apologized (likely because it appears another manager was now present) and would talk to the other manager about it (the one who made it for me last week) but at that point the damage was done as he had disrespected me in front of everyone and had me in tears. I cried the whole time I waited for the popcorn to pop and into the movie. I didn't get a full tub of popcorn and there were still pieces on it with color. I just don't understand why last weekend it wasn't an issue at all and the manager was happy to do it, but today I get yelled at and talked down to about it.
Furthermore, my son and I were the last people to leave the theater after the movie and two young kids came in to clean up. I watched one of them sweep the popcorn off of the floor and then pick up the broom and smack the chair to get the popcorn to fall onto the floor. He then proceeded to use the same broom from the floor on top of the tray tables where people eat. Disgusting. I'm very disappointed as we recently moved here from Florida and this was the first movie we had seen in a long time. Not only was the movie cancelled last week when we showed up (and got our popcorn), but today I was extremely disrespected by James B., who clearly is not able to handle the position of general manager (or whatever kind of manager he is). Don't let the positive reviews fool you. Find another theater.
