- MPMorgan Phoenix2 days ago5.0I have been to this lounge many times. The food is always delicious, the staff are super friendly, and the music is great. They do a great job of not letting it get too crowded. The most I’ve waited on the waitlist is 30 minutes (but it helps if you are a small party). The cap one lounges are consistently my favorite everywhere I travel. But this one makes the Dulles trek worth it.

Food was surprisingly legit and To Go food option was amazing. Comfortable seating, plenty of charging stations, and staff was super friendly. Worth the splurge on Venture X card if you're traveling a lot.

I arrived at the Capital One Lounge about 45 minutes before my flight and was asked to wait, which I was fine with. However, once that wait was over, I was told I needed to join another wait list. The staff at the front offered little guidance or support, which made the situation more frustrating. I left feeling disappointed with the overall experience.
- CHCat HKNov 7, 20255.05 stars because I was lucky that there was no wait. Was cheerfully greeted by the front desk staff and she kindly helped me use the free locker while I wasn't sure how. The lounge was spacious with a thoughtful floor plan that spread guests out so it didn’t feel cramped. Food and drink options were plentiful for me, and of course, I had to try the popular “Bee Cocktail.” I was able to enjoy some peaceful downtime before catching my next flight. By the time I left, there was already a long queue.
- JJJasonOct 31, 20253.0The food offerings were not good compared to their DCA lounge. They definitely need more locations at other main connecting airports to make the card more worth while. Currently only Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Denver (DEN), Las Vegas (LAS), New York City (JFK), Washington, D.C. (DCA) and Washington Dulles (IAD). Need for many more locations like BOS, ATL, CLT etc that are major spots and connectors. Food wise it tasted ok, but a good number of things came from packages or boxes, like their pastries, muffins, cereals, yogurts etc. What was cooked, like their eggs, were tiny (quiche sized) and constantly gone because of it, leaving many with only cold on-the-go options or standing in line waiting for some hot options to be available. This was around 7:30am.. Maybe it gets better at different times throughout the day. A disappointing first time visit though

How can I access the Capital One Lounge?
Venture X cardholders and their authorized users or account managers can enjoy unlimited complimentary access, plus complimentary entry for two guests per visit—and special pricing of $45 per visit for additional guests.
Venture & Spark Miles (Venture, Spark Miles, Capital One Miles) cardholders receive 2 complimentary visits towards their account per calendar year. Additional visits can be purchased for a discounted rate of $45.
All other cardholders & non-customers can enter at the standard rate of $65.
Children under 2 can enter for free with a supervising parent or guardian. Access to all amenities is included with Lounge entry.
Cardholders must use their Capital One card to qualify for complimentary or discounted access. Additionally, all visitors who have a boarding pass for a departing or connecting same-day flight, up to 3 hours before their departure time.
Lounge entry is subject to availability and access can be redeemed or purchased at the check-in desk. Advance reservations are not available at this time. We ask that all visiting the Lounge follow our Code of Conduct.
Can I pay to use the Capital One Lounge if I’m not a Capital One cardholder?
Capital One Lounges are open to all travelers at the standard rate of $65.
Children under 2 can enter for free with a supervising parent or guardian. Access to all amenities is included with Lounge entry.

Can I bring my pet, emotional support, or service animal into the Lounge?
Yes, service animals, emotional support animals, and pets are welcomed in the Lounges.
Please note that some Capital One Lounge locations may have different requirements based on local laws and health department regulations. If you have any questions, please ask at Reception.
Pets, emotional support animals or service animals are the responsibility of their owner. Capital One is not responsible for any issues or incidents that arise from pets, emotional support animals or service animals being present in the Lounge.
Should a pet, emotional support animal, or service animal misbehave or threaten the safety of a guest or staff member, we will prompt the owner to get the animal under control. If the service animal continues to exhibit dangerous or disruptive behavior, we reserve the right to ask the handler to remove the animal from the Lounge.
I left an item in the Lounge. How can I retrieve it?
Per airport procedures, items left behind are turned over to Airport Security for safekeeping.
