- YSY S2 days ago5.0Any cocktail fan would be impressed by the drink menu. It’s thoughtfully and cleverly designed, tying each cocktail to local DC attractions and culture. I also loved the glasswares, beautifully designed and a nice touch. The food is subpar and doesn’t compare to Landing DCA, but I did enjoy the variety of grab-and-go options at the entrance. I could definitely see myself coming back just to try all the drinks.

They were attentive and remembered my preferences, which given the traffic through this lounge, is no small feat! It’s a superb lounge with great small plates (love the vegetarian options!) and an even better staff!

Small bites are served in individual sized pots/plates and there is usually a wide variety to choose from. The to go bar is super convenient. You can take quick bites to go before heading to your gate. Service is really good and people come around to clean up and check in on you often. This is my favorite lounge at Dulles.

I highly recommend using the app to join the waitlist, since waits can stretch to an hour during peak travel times (it was about 45 minutes around 5 p.m. on a Friday). The atmosphere: The lounge is spacious, with table, bar, and couch seating. There are also small work rooms if you prefer a quieter, more private setup. The food: Tons of options, including coffee, juices, soda, and alcoholic beverages. There are plenty of tapas-style dishes (hot and cold), plus a great dessert selection. I loved the thin, crispy cookies. There are to-go bags available, and I recommend grabbing a few for your flight. The service: The staff was wonderful across the board, friendly, helpful, and happy to answer all my questions.

How can I access the Capital One Lounge?
Venture X cardholders and their authorized users or account managers can enjoy unlimited complimentary access, plus complimentary entry for two guests per visit—and special pricing of $45 per visit for additional guests.
Venture & Spark Miles (Venture, Spark Miles, Capital One Miles) cardholders receive 2 complimentary visits towards their account per calendar year. Additional visits can be purchased for a discounted rate of $45.
All other cardholders & non-customers can enter at the standard rate of $65.
Children under 2 can enter for free with a supervising parent or guardian. Access to all amenities is included with Lounge entry.
Cardholders must use their Capital One card to qualify for complimentary or discounted access. Additionally, all visitors who have a boarding pass for a departing or connecting same-day flight, up to 3 hours before their departure time.
Lounge entry is subject to availability and access can be redeemed or purchased at the check-in desk. Advance reservations are not available at this time. We ask that all visiting the Lounge follow our Code of Conduct.
Can I pay to use the Capital One Lounge if I’m not a Capital One cardholder?
Capital One Lounges are open to all travelers at the standard rate of $65.
Children under 2 can enter for free with a supervising parent or guardian. Access to all amenities is included with Lounge entry.

Can I bring my pet, emotional support, or service animal into the Lounge?
Yes, service animals, emotional support animals, and pets are welcomed in the Lounges.
Please note that some Capital One Lounge locations may have different requirements based on local laws and health department regulations. If you have any questions, please ask at Reception.
Pets, emotional support animals or service animals are the responsibility of their owner. Capital One is not responsible for any issues or incidents that arise from pets, emotional support animals or service animals being present in the Lounge.
Should a pet, emotional support animal, or service animal misbehave or threaten the safety of a guest or staff member, we will prompt the owner to get the animal under control. If the service animal continues to exhibit dangerous or disruptive behavior, we reserve the right to ask the handler to remove the animal from the Lounge.

Per airport procedures, items left behind are turned over to Airport Security for safekeeping.
