Along with a lot of other people, we don't tend to go to movie theaters very often anymore, but we decided to go see "Project Hail Mary" ( absolutely excellent movie if you haven't seen it by the way)
My first impression is actually the same one that I can always remember having. There's a sign that if you paid your tickets online that you could go directly to the ticket-taker. However, there was no ticket taker. The group in front of me was taking a little bit of time, but another employee came up and opened up the second register and let us get our tickets. That way. The ticket taker didn't show up until we had actually walked up to the concession stand, though I did walk back so that she could tear our ticket stubs. There was a decent wait for concessions but then there usually is. But the location was fairly clean and I believe they handled us well at the concession and the the cashier/popcorn person was doing a good job!
The drink machines were a little wonky as one had a waterfall of liquid coming down out of it. We got our drinks and let someone know about the soda machines and then headed to our theater. The theater was clean. I didn't have a complaint of any mess anywhere. The seats worked which I know a lot of people have problems with sometimes at theaters. However, they never turn down the theater lights when the movie started. I'm pretty sure we got at least 10 to 15 minutes into the movie before I saw someone get up and walk out of the theater. A few moments after they sat down the lights went off. Seems like there shouldn't be a lot necessary to get perfectly right at a movie theater, but turning the lights down is definitely one of them! Lol
So we had a perfectly good experience other than the house lights.

Good theater. Discount price for movies Tuesdays. Prices for concessions food is expensive but that's normal these days. They have a place for pub food and drinks with a small eatery before you go to the theater.

Marcus Crosswoods Cinema has honestly become my favorite movie theater in Columbus π¬β¨. The place is very clean, comfortable, and most of the time surprisingly quiet and peaceful π.
Of course, during huge blockbuster releases like Avatar: The Way of Water, the theaters can get completely packed πΏπ₯, but on regular days itβs usually calm and not overcrowded at all. Thatβs actually one of the things I love most about this place.
The theater itself feels well-maintained, the air quality is good, the seats are comfortable, and overall the atmosphere is relaxing π. The food is also really good for a movie theater, and the staff have always been friendly and welcoming π.
What makes this place special to me personally is that the first time I came here was with my friend Vakhtang Gokieli to watch Avatar: The Way of Water π. Since then, this cinema has stayed my favorite spot in Columbus.
Another big advantage is the parking π. Thereβs a huge parking lot, so finding a spot is usually easy and stress-free, which makes the whole experience even better.
Overall, this is an excellent theater if you want a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable movie experience βπ₯.

This is my favorite theater in Columbus. I'll admit that's from a mix of personal reasons and objective ones. I've been going here since the 1990s when high school friends worked here and every night was packed. These days few screenings are slammed except for really popular films. I like the ease of parking, large indoor space, short lines, clean theaters, good seats, and friendly staff. There's something magical about movies in the theater and I hope Marcus stays open forever.

There was construction out front that made the building look closed. I asked the construction workers and they told me to go in. When I expressed the confusion with the ticket guy he just looked at me. Damn, put a sign out saying we're still open.
Another lady walked up with the same question and asked was their still a showing at 1:35. His response was sarcastic as hell.
