I had my son’s birthday party at Slick City on a Friday evening, and it was a great experience from start to finish. We were the only party booked that evening, which worked out perfectly. The facility wasn’t crowded, and the kids were able to enjoy the slides, basketball, and dodgeball without any waits. Devin was an exceptional party host. She was attentive, helpful, and consistently checked in to make sure everything was running smoothly throughout the event. Overall, we had an amazing party experience, and my son and his friends had a fantastic time.

The staff is awesome, 10/10. I deducted one star because my 4 year old didn't go down any of the big slides. $31 for 90 minutes and $4 for socks was just too much for a 4 year old who was afraid of big slides, but that's my fault. We've been taking him to the trampoline park next door and he loves it, so we tried this place as something new. He was scared, he stuck to the jungle gym and basketball courts, which were fine, but exactly like the place next door. I went down the slides at 46 years old and they're actually pretty cool! But yeah, unless your 4 year old is fearless then wait a year or two. I think our 13 and 14 year old would've loved it but we didnt have them that day.. The staff were awesome and the place is super chill. We got there a little after 10am on a saturday and it was kind of empty, but when we left at noon it was really starting to fill up! Definitely for the fearless toddler or kids 5 and up!

Attended a kids birthday party here, we had a private room upstairs, definitely recommend this. Place can get busy, but a lot of space so its not crowded. Kids took turns and figured out how to get in line and wait for a minute to slide down. No issues in that aspect. Slides are amazing! Lots of options, lots of different pathways. The favorite is the dual jump slides! Those are cool! Facility is clean for a kids center. Staff quickly cleaned up any spills from kids. If they dont see it just give them a notice. Bathrooms are clean too! Excellent job staff! And friendly, helpful staff for all us lost parents. We had a great time, and this place is now on the list for hosting future parties.

From Gizmos to Slick City. If I were just focusing on the attractions, 5/5 kids had a ball. Lots to do. Where they need work done is professionalism of management and staff as well as how they operate in certain situations. I was there for a party and was not a fan of their initial reaction to the problem. It was unnecessarily stressful for the party host. They eventually fixed it but it was not a good experience for the first hour and a half of the booked party. Be quicker with solutions, anticipate them and pivot, be clear and transparent in communication, make a decision to keep your party guests happy from start to finish no matter what and commit. The bathrooms weren't were they should have been with how heavily staffed this place was. Workers just walking around talking to each other- so many of them just hanging out. Improvement here in these areas could mean even bigger success for this place with the great slide. Other notes: it was a busy Saturday night when we went and there were hardly any wait times for the slides.

I recently hosted my son’s 9th birthday party at Slick City Orland Park and it was a great experience from start to finish. We booked the deluxe package with a private room, and it was absolutely worth it. My only wish was that we had an extra hour. The booking is for 2 hours which is great for fun but it would be nice to have 1 more hour for food and birthday festivities within the room. The kids had an incredible time on the slides, and one of the best parts was that parents were able to join in on the fun too. That made it a much more interactive and memorable experience instead of just watching from the sidelines. The food was also a pleasant surprise. The pizza was genuinely good, easily better than what we’ve had at Gizmo’s, and the large pretzel with cheese was top notch fresh, warm, and really flavorful. The staff stood out as well. They were helpful, attentive, and accommodating throughout the entire party, which made everything run smoothly and took a lot of pressure off as the host. Our party host, Malaya, was especially great and kind, pleasant, and organized. She kept everything on track by making clear announcements for my son’s birthday, when the food was ready, and when it was time for cake, which made the whole event run smoothly and stress free getting everyone in the party together during the fun. Overall, this was a fun, well run venue that delivered on everything we needed for a great birthday party. I’d definitely recommend it to other parents looking for something engaging and easy to manage. Lastly, I recommend showing up to your party 30 minutes early, because my party was early I did not have to wait long to setup my room and start the fun. The party favors in the deluxe package has gift favors where the kids get a slick city water bottle that they can use to refill at the water stations and they also get a ICEE cup that gets refills. I recommend booking your party to start in the morning hours to beat the crowd so you can have most of the park all to yourself because it starts getting crazy crowded at 1pm.
