Great event space - has multiple rooms and a good sized stage - there was a location for the performers to change, and the outdoor space was lovely. Awesome venue and a cool event

The show my son and I attended at Artstillery was fantastic! It featured top-of-the line artists and a well-executed artistic vision by the show’s creator. The reason I give the venue a one star is the following incident: My son and I walked in to pay for our tickets at the door. We were in line behind a couple who also paid for their tickets at the door. The cashier tells us we’re welcomed to sit anywhere without a number sign. So my son and I pick the best available seats without a number sign in the second row to the right hand side of the stage. We settle into our seats to wait for showtime. Out of nowhere, up walks a busy-looking woman to unceremoniously and abruptly announce to my son and I that we cannot sit in our current spot since it’s meant for a party of three. She points to the back row and signals us to sit there (somewhere), without even graciously showing us to our new seats. At this point, we’re sitting by the camera man and we’re two sets of people deep, and can’t see the stage well. Meanwhile, the couple who had walked in right before us were also at a 3-seater table. They were not asked to move like my son and I were, and could happily see the stage from their seats. Why were we asked to move and not them? The busy-looking woman then proceeds to move a party of five from the back row, left hand side of the stage to the three-seater where we had been sitting in the second row, adding two chairs to that space. By this point, I’m very annoyed but do not let it show so that my son can enjoy the show. Well who gets on the stage to announce the beginning of the show? Busy-looking woman turned out to be Ilknur Ozgur! The optics were bad for a person that markets themselves as being concerned with social justice - she had essentially moved a gaggle of middle-aged white people up a row, left two others there, whilst intentionally moving my son and I to the back row next to the cameraman. Mind you, we had brought flowers for a close, personal friend who was a part of the cast. Other than that, great show.

A wonderful event that speaks to the struggles of the community. An immersive experience unlike any you have ever witnessed before. Helpful tip: Wear comfortable shoes, you will be on your feet quite a bit.
