  It’s taken a long time for me to review our experience. We were, unfortunately, disappointed in our wedding photos from last year. We did not receive the quality of images that we see from other reviews or their website. We were an elopement package, not a full-day high earning wedding, and I think we had a lower quality experience because of that. When booking I did have to follow up to get my contract going, communication was minimal. Day of the wedding we did not feel like the photographer wanted to be there at all. We felt like an inconvenience on our special day. I don’t think we even got a full group photo. My hair is a mess in a handful of photos and easily could have been fixed by quickly redirecting it or redirecting me for a better shot. Delivery of photos was delayed without communication based on the timeframe we were told so I followed up and then my gallery was delivered. Some pictures turned out nice but the majority appeared like our gallery and touch ups were rushed. We easily would have paid a higher amount and waited longer to have more attention on our photos, both in person and in editing, but that option wasn’t offered. I’ve since worked with high end photographers in my area and I will say that it is a night and day experience to what we encountered here at every touch point- from consultation to delivery. We look back on our photos and every time my husband says we should have hired someone else. For him to say something like that, says a lot to me. I feel the same way. I didn’t want to make a big deal of it or complain but I think our experience is worth sharing. These photos can only be done once.

  Lyra flawlessly captured the essence of our wedding! Throughout the day she was attentive, encouraging (for those of us who are camera shy), and fun to work with! The photos are absolutely lovely and I'm so grateful we have these memories to look back on in the years to come. You won't regret working with One Life Photography!

  We had the best experience with One Life Photo for a family portrait session. Communication was great, the photographer was so patient and great with us despite having a toddler and a 4 year old. I even got the address wrong which made the start time later, and we still got our full allotted time. Photos were back within 2 weeks and they’re stunning and the best quality. This was also very reasonably priced and I compared several in the area. Would definitely recommend!

  We feel so lucky to have worked with Victor and Lyra for our Charleston wedding on May 13th of this year! While we originally selected OneLife for their incredible photos, we could not have imagined how above-and-beyond Victor and Lyra would go for us. From the beginning, Victor was extremely easy to work with, communicative, and willing to answer every question I had. He was also flexible, modifying certain elements of their photography packages to meet our needs as a destination wedding couple. On the day of our wedding, Victor and Lyra worked as an amazing and dynamic team – They have a special ability to capture both candid and posed photos in such a beautiful way. They completed our family and bridal party portraits in an extremely efficient manner and were wonderful in trying to capture photos of our dog. They are also willing to put in the work to get that perfect shot (Victor went so far as to relocating a poorly parked golf cart to get it out of the background of our sunset photos!). Every time we turned, it seemed like Victor or Lyra was there, snapping away. Even more unexpectedly, Victor sent us 80 (yes, EIGHTY) sneak peek photos within the first week of our wedding! We were THRILLED to have all these precious moments in our hands so quickly. We could not have asked for a better experience or more gorgeous photos.
