At a crucial point in the film tonight all I heard was the bar tender shouting over to a customer “we have regular cider and blackcurrent cider”. The room was filthy and unbelievable noise outside during the session. Kids crying and adults drinking. Never going back to an Angelika facility in my life!

There is no slope and it’s very, very deep so half of the room has a crappy view. To add to this, they screen independent movies (often quiet/not loud) in a venue literally by a metro railway so it completely ruins the experience. I will not return.

- JBJefe BirknerOct 18, 20252.05:30 on Saturday afternoon, I have a movie ticket and their cafe is staffed with 3 people, lights in the pastry case are on, there's hot coffee in the coffee machines, and they refuse to give or sell coffee or pastries to me as a movie patron. I understand that their POS system is down, so they can't take cards, or track transactions.... But they do have hot coffee, which they'd rather let go to waste, than give to a customer. I tried to ask questions and they kept avoiding my questions and repeating the same things, that they are only selling tickets. I'm not an idiot, I understand, I'm just trying to get a cup of coffee and pay later, when their systems are up..... And if the system doesn't come up, they'd rather dump the coffee down the drain. "The general manager told me, that's what I'm supposed to do"
