  Took longer than expected. Pricing changed. Used this facility extensively in the past but as photography has become digital, the staff is smaller and the building has not been updated.

  Such professionalism! They also converted a Gopro video to DVD and the quality was fantastic! I have trusted Industrial Color Labs with my photos and videos for more than 10 years. !!

  Edit: I went back to have a couple of more items scanned, as I'm not aware of anyone else in the area that is capable of scanning large format negatives. I know - the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again yet expecting different results, but here we are. I'm not certain how you can get something as important as the bit depth of a scan wrong (scanned at 8-bit instead of 16-bit) and manage to call yourselves industry professionals. This is a huge oversight, yet such a simple fix. I would highly recommend that you ask very specific questions of the employees at Industrial Color Labs to make sure your job is done correctly instead of blindly trusting them as professionals (if you so choose to employ their services). Being said, if you're looking for a knowledgable staff that's capable of producing high quality products accurately, I would look elsewhere in the community first before bringing my work to Industrial Color Labs. First Post: I called last week for a quote to scan a few negatives - I spoke with Sierra (sp?) and gave her the exact dimensions of the negatives and exactly what I was looking for. She gave me a quote over the phone of a range between $3.00 to no more than $6.00 each. When I showed up today to pick up the scans, I was shocked to hear the price was $12.00 each. There was absolutely no communication from anyone at Industrial Color Labs within the last week to make sure I was prepared to spend double what I was originally quoted - only a note justifying why the price was substantially higher than what I was expecting to pay. Had someone reached out to me during the last week, this issue (and this review) could have been 100% avoided. It's also worth noting - when I got back to my computer and began to inspect the files, I noticed there was an issue. I asked for my files to be scanned at 1200 dpi, and while I'm sure they were scanned at that resolution, the output of the files were set at 4x the original dimensions of the negatives (at 1200 dpi). Which leads me to believe these files were digitally resampled - and that is completely unacceptable. If a 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" negative is scanned at any resolution, the output of that file should be exactly 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" at whatever resolution was chosen. On the plus side - and the only reason this wasn't a 1 star review: the job was completed in a timely fashion (even though it was substantially over budget and produced incorrectly).
