I was denied entry despite proving I had a confirmed flight leaving within 3 hours. I didn’t have an assigned seat because the flight was over booked, something totally out of my control. I presented an anbsurd amount of proof, yet I was still denied because “the policy is you need a seat assigned on your boarding pass.” You know who didn’t deny me access? The Centurion Lounge. You know who admits my employees FREE entry with their authorized user cards? The Centurion Lounge. Cancelling my Captial One expeditiously after this encounter.

Terminal 3. Know, it is only a Departure lounge. You might want to visit the app and put yourself on the wait-list, otherwise you might be have to queue and wait a bit. We got right in. Open till 11:00p on a Sunday this day. Lots of staff, a great bar selection too. This place is really set up. Maybe holds 150 or so. Lots of great, private, well equipped and super clean restrooms (like 10 of them I think). Chill music playing. It's a nice hang. At this time, one half a dozen cities have them. Hope this helps some.

This whole lounge is a vibe.
Small but spacious. Capacity controlled down to a tee. Clean and refreshing restrooms. Actually delicious tapas style plates and perfectly small sweet bites. A full service bar with non-alcoholic options. I didn't want to leave my seat. Until I found out they provide goodie bags before you depart 🛫
The entire Las Vegas Capital One Lounge team should feel really proud of their level of service. Hats off to you for making the last hours of our LV trip that much better! 🎰
Please dont ever lose this level of service!

Quick but Worthwhile Visit!
I had a 50-minute layover at Las Vegas airport and decided to check out the Capital One Lounge, which is located in the D gates. Since both my incoming and outgoing flights were at gate C, I had to make a bit of a trek to get there—but nothing too crazy.
First, a quick note on the logistics: The lounge is at the D gates, and there’s a tram (Blue Line) that connects the terminals. From gate C, it's about a 5-8 minute walk to the tram station, which is a bit hidden (you’ll have to go around to find it), but it’s not too hard to figure out. The tram ride itself is only about 2 minutes, and then you have to take an elevator up one level to reach the lounge. Not the most seamless connection if you’re in a rush, but it’s manageable, especially if you’re visiting during off-peak hours.
Speaking of which, I was there around 9 PM, so there was no wait time. I walked right in after a quick check-in, and the staff handed me a bag with some grab-and-go options, which was convenient if you’re in a time crunch.
Inside the lounge, I grabbed a quick bite to eat. The food was served in bite-sized portions, perfect for a fast snack if you’re on a tight schedule. After eating, I picked up some more snacks from the grab-and-go area to take with me. With only 45 minutes, that was plenty of time to enjoy the lounge offerings and still make my gate with time to spare.
The lounge itself was top-notch—definitely a high-quality experience with a premium feel. The decor, seating, and overall ambiance were fantastic, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Honestly, I was really impressed compared to other Priority Pass lounges I’ve visited.
If you have a Venture X credit card, the Capital One Lounge is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be looking forward to my next layover here!

In 2 of 3 trips in Vegas and 1 in Atlanta, we failed to access the Capital one lounge because it was full and we’re not allowed to grab goodies on the go. Although the front was empty, only those eating in the lounge can grab more food on the go as they leave. They want you to wait, choose between missing your flight and having a few goodies. Either Miko was having a power trip or the Capital One lounge policy was designed to screw over most venture x customers not having at least 30 min to wait. They seriously want ppl to wait 30 min crowding the front just to grab a coffee and cookie to go.
