  Rating this specifically on their mini golf course. Obviously their main attraction is their climbing and adventure part. Can’t speak to that. Mini golf was a huge bust. It literally feels like an after thought. The course has no frills, which is fine, but the greens are awful. They are not purposefully difficult, they are horrendous. You couldn’t get an accurate shot if you were a pro. No back stops, balls all over the course. Very little variation. $10 to play, anymore and I would have asked for our money back. We did almost leave after the 4th hole. If you want to kill time while waiting to climb, fine, but don’t go here just for mini golf.

  I'd like to think that my husband and I are adventurous people... So I bought us a gift card for Ryze Adventure Park! 😆 Short review: We loved this place and will definitely come again. Great training, staff, and park. Clean restrooms, safe environment, good business! Long review: My husband had heard a lot about this place and said it'd be cool to visit. So l bought a gift card and he loved the surprise gift. We waited for better weather to go.... And 8 months later we finally went haha. Well worth the wait! And the gift card did not expire. With the card code, I booked our tickets in advance. We felt like we saved ourselves time and were able to better curate our first Ryze experience by going over options and doing the online stuff at home in advance (signing waivers, reading details, picking gloves, choosing a phone lanyard, checking out pictures of the mini golf/concessions, etc.). I recommend doing this if you haven't been before or if you want a little more control without people waiting behind you in line. We got there just a minute or two after our ticket reservation time. But the staff was gracious and friendly and our online preparation paid off because they said to hit the restrooms, grab our gloves, and get to training! They sent us out with the current group (no waiting!) and we learned so much. The instructor was very detailed and reassuring. People of all ages were learning with us and we all seemed to understand the clip-in technique and system. I felt safe the entire time at the park, and the staff was spaced out everywhere to answer questions or to guide you to the obstacles you wanted. The obstacles are labled with different colors based on difficulty level and we found that most of them were pretty accurate. The variety was impressive! My husband and I tried the zipline which was AWESOME and the freefall was also exhilarating. We had booked ourselves for 3 hours but we barely made it 2 before we were totally exhausted. The whole outing was super fun and the people around us were delightful too. We even got a nice person to take our photo with the course behind us. The only con I experienced was that I kept getting stuck behind these two younger girls who couldn't reach the clip-in lines as well and stopped traffic a bit. They were shorter (I don't blame them for that!) and kept going to the obstacles I was headed toward..but just more indecisively and slowly. The staff were super helpful in directing overall traffic, but I would recommend coming on a weekday or early on a weekend if you think this would be an issue for you (we went on a Saturday afternoon). Additionally, note that children's sizes/heights might limit their experience. I think other reviews touch on this point too - definitely check Ryze's website (or call them!) for more on this if you're worried. I highly recommend this place! What a fun friend outing, date idea, family weekend plan, etc.! We'll be visiting again 🙌

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars! We celebrated my daughter’s 13th birthday at Ryze in Maryland Heights, and it was absolutely incredible! The entire experience was a blast from start to finish. The staff were friendly, patient, and made sure everyone felt safe and confident before each challenge. My personal favorite parts were the zip lines and the free-fall drop — both were thrilling and unforgettable! The setup is super clean, organized, and perfect for all ages. Watching my daughter and her friends cheer each other on while tackling obstacles was the best part of the day. If you’re looking for an adventure-filled, high-energy experience for a birthday or family outing, Ryze is the place to go! We’ll definitely be back!
