However, this is utterly overshadowed by the abysmal state of the audio presentation. The sound mix was, to put it plainly, horrendous. The vocal and dialogue track was rendered almost unintelligible, struggling desperately beneath an over-amplified and dominating instrumental score. The technical deficit was so glaring that the audio quality during the pre-feature previews was noticeably superior to the sound during the actual feature film. In a move of good faith, I alerted a member of the theater staff, who reportedly investigated and possibly enacted a minor technical adjustment. While the audio did improve marginally afterward, the core problem remained unresolved, and the poor quality nearly destroyed my ability to appreciate the film. I arrived at the theater at 1:00pm for a matinee movie and stepped up to the concession stand order 1 small and 1 medium popcorn with 1 small and 1 medium beverage. Total bill $35.49 what a bargain for cold stale popcorn!!! I knew something was wrong when I couldn't smell any popcorn. This crud was bagged from the previous day. What a rip off and of course at a bargain price. The cherry on the cake was they wanted a tip at the bottom of the receipt.
