Title: “Worst Trip Ever – Extremely Disappointing Experience at Disney World Florida” Our recent trip to Disney World Florida was, unfortunately, the worst travel experience we’ve ever had. From the start, things went downhill. Upon arrival, we checked in, got our room keys, and were told everything was ready—except they failed to mention that the key wouldn’t work at the gates until after it had been used on the room door. Of course, we couldn’t use it on the room door because we couldn’t even get through the gate. No one answered the bell, so we had to drive all the way back to the main hotel to figure it out. When we finally got into our room, there was water on the floor. Not exactly the magical start we were hoping for. Every park entrance had terrible lines, and one person in our group was flagged for security every single time. Not the same person each time. It added about 15 extra minutes each time, partly due to poor staffing and disorganization. We brought my 75-year-old mother on this trip—our main reason for going was to let her see the characters. She uses a scooter for long distances and requires someone with her for medical reasons. While entering Epcot, she was flagged at security, and the first blue-shirted security staff member was extremely rude. I explained I needed to stay with her for medical reasons, and he dismissively told me to wait outside. After insisting, he reluctantly allowed me to go through. We waited about 15 minutes, only to be told that I needed to be checked too—despite not being flagged—just because I went through the line with her. I cooperated, but it was clear they were just being difficult at that point. When the wand didn’t detect anything, they still asked me to remove my belt. I refused and left. Not all staff were rude, but this entire experience was unnecessary, frustrating, and completely uncalled for. Between the poor communication, unhelpful staff, long waits, and lack of compassion for elderly or disabled guests, this was by far the worst place on earth for us—not the happiest. I’d rather fly around the world than ever return or recommend the experience to anyone. I will never return to Disney World Florida.

Disney World is truly the most magical place on Earth. From the moment you step through the gates, everything feels larger than life — the music, the colors, and the endless smiles. Each park has its own charm: Magic Kingdom is pure nostalgia, with Cinderella’s Castle gleaming at the center and classic rides like Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean that never lose their magic. EPCOT blends culture and innovation beautifully, while Animal Kingdom offers breathtaking scenery and incredible attractions like Flight of Passage. Hollywood Studios is perfect for movie lovers, with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge being a jaw-dropping experience that feels straight out of a film. The attention to detail everywhere is astonishing — even the food and snacks feel special (Dole Whip and Mickey-shaped treats are must-haves). Lines can get long, but Disney’s crowd management and mobile app make planning easier. The cast members go above and beyond to make every visit feel personal, especially for kids and first-time guests. Whether you’re five or fifty, Disney World brings out your inner child. It’s not just a theme park; it’s a place where memories are made, laughter is constant, and magic truly feels real.

Wife is a super Disney fan while I'm more of a Dollywood guy. Either way, my wife wanted to see the changeover from Halloween to Christmad but....alas, they did not do it on 11/1 like we hoped. Also, as a Halloween lover, I was Hella disappointed that they had no Halloween decorations (unlike at Disneyland). The Haunted Mansion was normal (no Jaxk Skellington anywhere) so that was disappointing but, overall, Disney is still a magical place to be. The Tiana ride was my favorite ride by far, followed by Tron which justifies the long wait time (about 55 minutes).

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween was so much fun and not stressful. We were able to get on rides and not wait. The shows are a must watch along with a parade or two, stay for the fireworks it was so worth it. They have signs and guest service holding a paddle to guide you. I enjoyed the food, snacks and drinks. Prefer parking is 60$$ whereas regular is 40$$. You are allowed to bring your fluids and snacks if you want to save money. I almost forgot the best part you can wear a costume to MNSSH. It is a once in a lifetime experience that is a memory in the books for me and my family.
