This place is so cute! We made reservations online (you have to have reservations, and they go quick so make sure to book on opening day for reservations for your travel period). We were sat in the upstairs area overlooking the balcony. While we could see and hear everything, the placement was less than ideal, we would have much rather been in the middle of it downstairs. The food came quickly and was piping hot. There were 3 of us and there was far too much food on our table for us to even put a dent in! Definitely come hungry! Every bite was delicious, especially the corn bread. The show itself was very cute and had us laughing the entire time. It is a one and done for us, but something we would do again if we had new family members joining us! Definitely recommend doing it at least once. Arrive early if you can, the Fort Wilderness area is so cute to explore and there is so much to do! You also need to arrive early for parking as it takes a while to find, and you have to use their internal bus system to get to it! Don't slide in with a few minutes to spare or else you will be late!

I’m just ok about the experience. The chicken was really good, everything else was ok. I think our waitress was delayed as compared with other tables and not very engaging. The waiter at the next table over was pretty entertaining and engaging with the people he was serving. The people on stage sang and danced and were moderately entertaining. I wasn’t overly impressed. Seemed a bit expensive for what it was.

I’ve been going to Hoop-Dee-Doo for decades, ever since I was little and now I get to take my daughters. We all love it! Book as soon as your booking window allows because the good times and tables do sell out. Get Tier 1 if you’re able for the best view of the show.
There is no parking lot at the restaurant, not even handicap. You have to park at the entrance of Fort wilderness and take a bus to the restaurant area. Plan a good extra 20 minutes for that. This most recent time we were staying in Fort wilderness so all we had to do was walk over. They open the check-in exactly 30 minutes before your show starts. They say tables are pre-assigned so no need to rush. Checking in early won’t get you a better table. There is a playground right out front if you’re waiting.
The food is very good. Family style and you can ask for more of anything. You start with cornbread, salad, and coleslaw. later in the show they bring fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, and more. Dessert is a lovely strawberry shortcake and you get bottomless sangria and beer.
We sat in tier 1 and had a nice view of the stage and performers came right by us. Some of the tables are pushed together so we sort of shared a long table with another family. It wasn’t a big deal but I can see some situations where it might be. It really depends who is at the table next to you, I imagine.
Our server was great. The performance was fun and engaging. Our daughter and so many other children laughed the whole time. It was a really nice evening for grandparents, parents, and children. We look forward to our next visit!

The show is a fun experience for all ages. It is fast moving and happens during and after family style meal. The chicken and ribs were great. Mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, beans were just "okay". Glad we went the one time, not sure we would repeat.
