Was a wonderful experience. Funny show. Lots of energy... and noise. Lol! In a fun way. Was worth going for sure. Food was surprisingly good. My fav was the salad. Yes, the salad. Had like a sweet, maple vinaigrette or something. Lol! Ribs were good, corn bread, beans and mashed potatoes - all very tasty. It may be a few years, but we'll be back in the future! Hint: The ending gets super loud - while service dogs are conditioned for a variety of atmospheres and sounds, it did get pretty darn loud. Just something to consider when booking...

For approx $75 a person, I expected better than lukewarm cafeteria food. Sure the venue is whimsical in a stereotypical “Ozark hillbilly” decor but the food was lack luster at best. Served “family style” but in portions designed for two people at best - not a full table of 4-6, the food comes out cold. Mashed potatoes had good flavor but also had a film on the top from being portioned then sitting. Fried Chicken had a good flavor but also cold. Mac & Cheese was mushy and cold The salad and cole slaw were the best of all the food offerings Server took FOREVER to bring drinks and we didn’t even bother asking for more food once we saw how long it took to get more salad. The strawberry shortcake was also served as one piece for the table. It was a dry cake with maybe 4 slices of strawberry on the bottom and basically no juice at all. I think we eat had one bite at most of it. The show was corny, very loud and chaotic but the kids at other tables seemed to enjoy it. I really expected more of a show and not over half the event filled with “guess what state people are from”, birthday and anniversary recognitions. I can now say I’ve been there done that and have zero desire to ever go again. Our group had a reservation for 10 people yet they wouldn’t put the tables together and we ended up split in to a group of 6 and a group of 4! We had two more friends that had to make a separate reservation because of the 10 person limit What’s the point on limiting to 10 if you can’t even all sit together? I would go to the Country Bear Jamboree over and over daily before ever forcing anyone to sit through that ridiculous performance. For $75 a person, we could have gone to an actual restaurant and enjoyed a classy meal. Disappointed!!! Attached is the view from our table - where the excuse was “the chairs swivel”. This is with the chair swiveled to see the show vs facing the table!

This was my family’s 4th time for the HDR. We arrived and watched how everyone was being serviced except us for drinks and cornbread. This continued throughout the night. Tables were all around us were getting seconds when we hadn’t eaten at all. When we asked for more, it was not plentiful at all. We all loved the show but the food and service was not what we had experienced.

Absolutely loved this place. The food was pretty good. The corn bread and chicken were my favorite. Its all served family style. The staff was super attentive and quick. They are extremely efficient and work well together. The cast did an amazing job entertaining both adults and kids which I think is hard to do. The show was so enjoyable and kept us laughing throughout the entire time. Sure its a little childish at some points but thats the beauty of it. Absolutely stunning voices and the way they engage with the audience and involve both the adults and kiddos is just great! We were a family of 20 and they also accommodated our large group at one table which was also a huge plus to be able to enjoy with the entire family (most dining can not accommodate this large of a group at Disney).
