I went into the lounge with my partner on a Monday around 2pm early January 2026.
This was my first time in a CapX lounge my previous experience is with the SEA Alaska Lounge and some priority pass lounges internationally.
We had a 25min wait to enter the lounge, probably closer to 40min because we were added to wait list while waiting for our disembarkation.
Food was very nice, we had a nice variety of options including a
- Spicy Tofu Poke Bowl
- Falafel Salad
- A Toy Caprese Salad
- A Chicken Tinga Bowl
- Pasta with and without Bacon
Pastries including Yuzu Donuts, Croissants, Brownies, and a selection of petit fours.
Food as changed quickly and trays quickly gathered. Service staff was approachable and kind with questions. Bathrooms were AMAZINGly clean and nice.
Overall a great experience, and makes me want to get my own CapVX when the new restrictions come into effect Feb 2026.

I am officially done with Capital One. I got the Venture X specifically for the lounge access at DIA, but it has become a total joke. Every single time I travel, there is a massive line or a waitlist that stretches over an hour. A lounge benefit is worthless if you can never actually step foot inside.
What’s the point of a "premium" travel card if the primary perk requires me to arrive at the airport four hours early just to hope for a seat? While Capital One is busy over-marketing this space, they’ve clearly failed to manage capacity. It feels less like an exclusive club and more like a crowded DMV.
I’m tired of the "Waitlist" text messages and the disappointment. I will be cancelling my card and moving back to American Express. The Amex Centurion Lounge at DIA actually understands how to manage its flow, the bar is significantly better, and I don't have to deal with the constant "at capacity" excuses. If you actually want to use the benefits you pay for, look elsewhere. Capital One has officially lost a customer.

Great spot to rest before a flight. Worth the wait.
We’ve visited the Capital One lounge in Fort Worth as well as were equally as pleased with our visits. One of the best lounge experiences.
⏳ Wait time: We visited on a Monday before New Years so it was understandably busy. We had 10 groups in front of us when we checked in for the waitlist. The wait was about 25 min. — waiting is worth it since the experience inside does not feel to crowded, cramped and dirty.
✨ Highlights
• Amazing food and cocktail selection! Summer the bartender was great and flattered me by asking for my card (at almost 30!)
• Best food was the chicken tinga — everything comes in great tiny portions to be able to try it all and go back for seconds guilt free!
• The “grab and go” station is great to grab a quick bite if you’re in a rush or want a drink to go.
✏️ Things to note:
• You must show your Capital One card — on app, tap to pay or the physical card are all
• Front check in staff is as they typically are — curt and unwelcoming, very unkind and unhelpful. Any extra questions or interaction was met with sighs like it was a huge bother to help.
• The staff in the lounge itself such as the cleaning staff are always attentive and helpful!

I am very angry and disappointed about the lounge. As a capital one card holder for 3 years I have neaver experienced something like this at any other capital one lounge. Let me first start off by saying this lounge gets so busy at peak times so they decided to use a waitlist system. I ended up entering the list 1 hour before arriving and was denied to enter to the lounge. Even though I’ve gotten the text to enter they still denied me to enter their lounge because they could not find my name on their system. Did I mention how unprofessional there workers are here. I swear capital one hires anyone now. After waiting another hour in the concourse they finally let me in. As soon as I entered it was to my shock how little options there is to eat. And most of the options were just cold food mostly prepackaged food. The only warm foods were just dessert. Due to my dietary restrictions, I had to resort to eating nothing. Also, there was very limited options to sit as they did not reserve a table for me. To add on the lounge was freezing, and there was nothing I can do about it because there was nobody trying to assist anyone. Great job capital one because not only will I neaver visit this lounge ever again. But you are one step closer for me to not becoming a member anymore.

As always, we had an excellent visit to the lounge. We are consistently greeted with kindness and smiles when we enter. The food and drinks are all delicious and there are options for everyone, including our kids. The staff always take good care of us but especially our kids - they chat with them, take them to get snacks, help them get drinks, and treat them like royalty. My 7 and 4 year old girls remember people from this lounge by name and hope to see each of them when we travel because of the incredible relationships they build with us. Bobo was one of the staff today that was very kind to our family and we loved the interactions we had with her. She loved on our kids and checked in on them regularly. Always a good experience and always so grateful for everyone in this lounge. Highly recommend!!!
