We missed the theater Palm d' Or and were hopeful that Cinemark would have some of the 'smaller' movies that we enjoy. I have seen some wonderful movies in your theater but most of the movies are created for a much younger audience. Often there are very few people in the theater when I attend. There are many older residents who live in La Quinta who love to go the movies! I drove to a theater 30 minutes away to see Hamnet and there were no available seats. The reviews are wonderful and the showings are sold out. It is not showing in our La Quinta Cinemark. What a shame. I'm hoping that you will revisit the movies you show and offer some more sophisticated, less child oriented movies in the future.

- ALAndy LyuDec 21, 20255.0The D-Box experience is essentially a theater seat that will shake and tilt in sync with the movie. It's a dumb gimmick, but I'm a sucker for dumb gimmicks. My seat worked as advertised. When purchasing your seat be sure that it is marked as a D-Box seat; not all the seats in the auditorium are D-Box enabled. On your right armrest will be a panel to adjust your seat's intensity. On your left, a cupholder. I recommend trying it at least once. Allow yourself to enjoy something dumb.
