I have always wanted to have a geothermal ground pump system installed in my home. I am fortunate to have enough land (approximately 80 feet by 40 feet) to have a proper loop field for the system. Brian came to our house and explained the layout of the system and the financing. In my situation, the entire system was approximately $48,000. Of that $48,000, National Grid was required to kick in $7,500 which went directly to NOCO bringing the cost to roughly $40,500. That was the number we had to finance, which NYS has a program to assist in the financing. Of the $40,500, NYS & the Federal Government offer rebates totaling 55% of that amount which is returned in the form of tax rebates over a multiple year period. On the day the project began, a giant backhoe appeared and the entire loop-field was dug in the morning. The team of Mike and Derrick created the loop-field and it was buried by the end of day one. It took a couple more days for them to drill 2 holes in my foundation. Once the equipment arrived and was installed in my basement, they then filled the lines with a glycol solution. From then on, my heat was dialed in at 71 degrees for the winter and our house (approximately 2,400 sq ft) was perfectly cozy. When the blistering heat hit, I hit the interactive keypad and changed from heat to cool (72 degrees) and my entire house was cooled in less than 30 minutes. The only drawback was our electric bill in the coldest part of the winter. Our house is entirely run off of electric and we got a bill of $405. We dealt with that by turning our heat down by 1 degree which, believe it or not helped quite a bit. In spite of that bill, it was a fraction of what it would have been had we heated with propane. There were a few adjustments along the way, but I would recommend NOCO Geothermal specifically all day long. I could not be happier. A reminder to anyone researching a geothermal system is to get everything in writing! I’ve heard horror stories, but NOCO wasn’t one of them.

We had NOCO install a geothermal heating unit at our home in Chautauqua county. They were extremely helpful and professional every step of the way. They helped us set up financing and the installation went very quickly. Would definitely recommend them. 5/5
