Before calling Mark and HydroCut, I wasted a ton of time with three other forestry mulching services — one no-showed me entirely, another got stuck, and the third admitted their machine couldn’t handle the job. Then I called HydroCut. Daniel came out quickly, gave me solid advice on how to approach the work, and described the equipment they have, which is on another level — faster, more capable, and able to go places the others simply couldn’t. Their operator Jake showed up right away, worked efficiently, and left my property looking fantastic. HydroCut’s team is professional, knowledgeable, and truly equipped for any job. Don’t waste your time like I did — call HydroCut first and get it done right the first time.

We had a wooded area on our small farm cleared and could not be happier with the results. Mark and Daniel are great guys. Ricky who operated the machine was awesome. We are left with an area that looks like a park. We highly recommend Hydrocut for all your land clearing needs!

Hydrocut was amazing! They came out to my property and walked the entire lot. They wanted to make sure of exactly what I wanted done. I marked trees I did not want cut down and every marked tree was left standing when the job was done. They cleared my 1 acre in about 5 hrs. The owner of the company, Mark, is an outstanding guy and was very helpful. This company is military friendly too! I will recocmmend Hydrocut to anyone looking for land clearing. I’ve already had one friend look at my lot after it was cleared, he went and hired Hyrocut’s service the next day!

I have used these folks twice now on my farm land and along the river. Great folks to work with and excellent results! I will certainly call them again.

What is mechanical grinding/clearing and how does it differ from stumping and grubbing?
Mechanical grinding/clearing is a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly method compared to traditional stumping and grubbing. It involves cutting trees at ground level, similar to mowing grass, and leaving the roots in place. The cut material is then processed into a natural mulch bed. This approach costs approximately one-third of stumping and grubbing, making it an economical choice for land clearing.
How do I maintain my property after mechanical grinding/clearing?
Maintaining your property after mechanical grinding/clearing is straightforward. You can use a standard lawn tractor for regular upkeep. Fine grass seed can be directly spread over the mulch, allowing grass to grow naturally while keeping the area manageable.
Do I have to remove all the trees during land clearing?
No, complete tree removal is not necessary during land clearing. We can selectively clear brush and smaller trees while preserving larger trees according to your preferences. This approach allows you to maintain desired trees while still opening up the land.
Can your machines access residential properties?
Our machines can access residential properties provided there is a minimum 12-foot-wide path to the work area. For safety reasons and to prevent damage, we cannot operate our equipment over septic tanks, concrete surfaces, or driveways.
